CATERING SERVICES FOR AN END-YEAR FUNCTION FOR
MBOMBELA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY
Bids are hereby invited from experienced and capable services providers to provide catering
services for council end-year function for Mbombela Local Municipality.
Bid documents will only be obtainable as from 13 November 2014 at counter no: 10 Ground
floor, NELSPRUIT CIVIC CENTRE, 1 NEL STREET between 8:00 and 15h00, upon
payment of a non-refundable levy of R50.00 Cash, Credit Cards and Electronic Payment
Transfers will be accepted. (Please note that payments made electronically will only
reflect on Council’s bank account after 24 hours and documents will only be issued
after such payment is reflected)
Duly completed bid documents and supporting documents which are, ID COPIES OF
BUSINESS OWNERS, ORIGINAL TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE, CERTIFIED COPY
OF B-BBEE CERTIFICATE, TAXES CLEARANCE FROM RELEVANT LOCAL
AUTHORITY, and a copy of the COMPANY REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, together with
the bid document must be sealed in an envelope clearly marked: “BID NO: 238/2014:
CATERING SERVICES FOR AN END-YEAR FUNCTION FOR MBOMBELA LOCAL
MUNICIPALITY MBOMBELA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY, closing date: 21 NOVEMBER 2014”
with the name of the bidder shall be placed in the bid box at NELSPRUIT CIVIC CENTRE at
1 NEL STREET, NELSPRUIT, before 11:00 on the closing date.
Prospective bidders are requested to meet the Project Manager for a compulsory briefing
session on 18 November 2014 @ 8:30 at 1 Nel street, Nelspruit Civic Centre, Mayor’s
parlour.
Bids received by telegram, fax or e-mail will not be considered. Late bids shall not be
accepted nor considered.
A preferential point system shall apply whereby this contract will be allocated to a bidder in
accordance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, No 5 of 2000 and
as defined in the conditions of bid in the bid document, read in conjunction with the
preferential procurement regulation, 2011, where 80 points will be allocated in respect of
price and 20 points in respect of B-BBEE status level of contributor.
