Continue praying that they we will serve as
faithful witnesses of the love and grace of our
Lord Jesus Christ.
 Next Sunday we will witness Daniel Lubben’s
public profession of faith. We rejoice in the
Lord’s faithfulness to Daniel thus far and look
forward with anticipation to see where and
how the Lord leads him in the future.
 Irene Kerekes was admitted to the hospital on
Wednesday due to complications with the
cancer she is fighting and its treatment. Please,
pray for Irene and her family during this time of
difficulty and decision.
 MISSIONARY OF THE MONTH— Kevin and Julie
Girton, Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in
Turkey. Pray that through Kevin and Julie's
pioneer work in Turkey for YWAM God will
raise up workers for the Harvest. Pray for
Kevin and Julie's continued language
acquisition.
 Shawnee Family Thoughts
Remembering Home Bound Members
We pray for a few Shawnee family members
who are not able to worship with us (regularly
or at all) as they are home bound. We
remember and pray for Rose Bloem, Carol
Doornbos, Glenn & Anne Van Dommelen.
 Praying for a sister church every Month
In October, we remember Oakdale Park CRC.
CONGREGATIONAL NOTES
 This week, we celebrate God’s Holiness with Psalm
99. Next week, we seek wisdom through Psalm 1 –
Do you walk in the way of the wicked or delight in the
laws of the Lord?
 Reverse Food Offering—This morning, slips of paper
with food items will be distributed for Ramoth
House, a confidential emergency shelter available for
women and their children. Take a slip or more and
bring these items to church next Sunday, October 26.

Classis Grand Rapids East are invited and encouraged
to attend our Annual Classis-Wide Worship
Service. We will be meeting in Seymour's newly
remodeled facility. Calvin College LOFT teams will be
leading in worship, and Calvin Seminary Dean of
Students, Jeffrey Sajdak, will bring the Word. We
would love to see you there. Nursery is provided.
