PRODUCT ADVANTAGES
Dmed® Triango
MOBILITY AND FUNCTION
LED technology gives high performance
lighting for the procedure area. Triango’s
intricate design and robust materials also
allow for a broad range of movement and easy
positioning of the fixture.
Dmed® Triango is available in two versions.
Ceiling Mount:
The ceiling mount can be a space saver,
especially in rooms where maximum
freedom of movement is required.
Floor Stand:
Taking the Triango mobile with the rolling floor
stand offers flexibility for various areas of the
room or even for sharing among several
areas.
Wall Mount:
The option of a wall mounted version is also
available - please consult factory.
EVEN ILLUMINATION
OF THE AREA
The unique optic developed by Derungs
ensures an optimum light field. The
illuminated area meets the highest
technical lighting requirements for
treatment lights. The reflection-,
shadow- and glare-free lighting
generates an ideal field of vision specific
to close work.

Triango offers the optimum in color
rendering with Ra > 95 and R9 > 90. This
allows for clear recognition of any issues

MAINTENANCE-FREE
CLEANING AND
STERILIZATION
LED technology allows for long periods of
maintenance-free usage. No service for
bulb replacement necessary for the life of
the fixture.
Its closed construction and smooth surface
allows for quick, thorough cleaning. In
addition, any penetration of dust, dirt or
liquids is prevented. The removable handle is
easy to sterilize.

High quality components guarantee a strong,
user-friendly luminaire. Derungs uses only
top of the line materials to garner maximum
benefits from its product.
Luminaire body:
Polycarbonate & acrylonitrile-butadienestyrene copolymer (PC & ABS)
Lens Cover:
Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA)
An ABR-GL abrasion-proof coating makes the
lens cover scratch proof.
Setting up the floor stand requires one
person, installation of the ceiling-mounted
version requires two people.
ILLUMINATION / LIGHT

GLARE-FREE
Easy operation: One control switches the
light on/off and dims with five light levels,
providing the practitioner with the quick,
convenient control necessary when many
different procedures are being done during
the course of the day.
The light beam is focused and thus glarefree, whatever the angle of sight. This avoids
all bothersome reflections on the surface.
COMFORTABLE OPERATION
The triango is ergonomically designed for
comfort and ease of operation. The rotary
switch is conveniently located on the
luminaire head. The handle is shaped to lie
comfortably in the operator’s hand. The
compact construction allows for freedom of
movement in a crowded room.
SERVICE
In case of defect, the complete luminaire
head is sent back to the factory and replaced
in a timely manner.

illumination using only 30 watts of power.
if lower light levels are necessary, power
consumption will be even less.
No maintenance required: no light source
replacement, no wearing of parts, reducing
operating costs significantly.
Universal converter 100-240 volts:
can be used in all countries.
NO RADIATION OF HEAT
An ideal working environment for physicians
– the light emitted by LEDs contains almost
no infrared or UV radiation. Thus no heat
emanates from the light to the elevating the
level of comfort for patient and practitioner.
This prevents tissue from drying out or being
affected by the heat, greatly facilitating
specific procedures. Any heat generated by
the light is directed to the rear of the fixture
head, allowing for any necessar y
adjustments to be made to the fixture
without worry.
GOOD WORKING CONDITIONS
Out of necessity, a procedure light is often
positioned in close proximity to patient and
staff. Glare and heat can easily exacerbate
headaches and fatigue. Optics are used to
provide a work space free of shadows,
reflections and glare.
The heat generated by the LEDs is directed
to the rear of the luminaire head. No cooling
fan is necessar y: Effectively reducing
distractions by lowering the level of ambient
noise in the working environment.
