Dear Friends in Christ,
What graces we received at Infant Jesus Parish in the celebration of Forty Hours of
Adoration of the Real Presence of Jesus. Recently, I was at a non-Catholic service where
the Word was proclaimed very beautifully, but without the Real Presence, there was a hole in the ceremony.
How much we have as Catholics! With the exception of the Orthodox Church, it is the Catholic Church,
East and West alone, that has valid Eucharist, believing in transubstantiation. The words of Deacon Joseph
Becker over our three nights were anointed and I am grateful to Father Chris and our deacon candidate
Frank Dunleavy for all their work. This includes music by Frank and his daughter, Sarah Johnston; our dear
FMIJ Sisters and our wonderful choir. To all those who decorated our church and chapel with flowers and
who participated in any way to make these days beautiful, I thank you. My gratitude to the King’s Men and
to the Knights of Columbus along with altar servers who took part. We invited our Extraordinary Ministers
of Holy Communion and I am grateful to those who could be present. Finally, thank you, in the name of the
Lord, to all who came out to adore the Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Some of you came out late at
night or early in the morning; what a beautiful rendezvous! I truly ask the Lord to grant to those who took
the time to pray, the graces they requested from the Sacred Heart of Jesus. May the Lord in the Most Holy
Sacrament of the Altar be praised now and forever! Amen!
God bless you,
Father Szolack
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Family Prayer Crucifix for Vocations
Every Sunday at 10 AM Mass, we will see a
family receive a Crucifix to take home for the week to
pray for vocations to the Holy Priesthood and Religious
Life. It is contained in a beautiful handcrafted box which
also serves as a stand for the Crucifix. Prayers to be used
by the host family are on a laminated program in the
box. Every weekend the host family will return the Crucifix in procession. A new host family will receive it at
the end of Mass. Sister Vilma is the crucifix for vocations coordinator. Let us pray for holy vocations to religious life from our parish. If you are praying over a possible calling, please speak to Father Szolack.
God bless our men and women who put
their lives on the line to preserve freedom
around the world. We thank God for our good fortune to
be citizens of the USA. We continue to pray for our men
and women overseas especially, Justin Gousha, Shawn
Jarrell, Becky & Nick Johnson, Martin Renzi, Brian Simmons, Rob Solome, Sarah Turse, Michael Ekimogolu,
Chris Fusco, Charity Winkler, Brian Schwartz, and Josh
Little. If someone has returned home, we ask that you let
us know. Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their
families for the selfless acts they perform in our time
of need. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen 
