Our Diploma of Screen and Media will provide you with advanced skills to work in the exciting world of film and
television production. Learn to explore and develop technical skills in:
scriptwriting
producing
directing
cinematography
storyboarding
lighting
editing
production management.
This program uses industry standard studios and equipment including software by Adobe and AVID, Panasonic
cameras and a purpose built green-screen studio, TV control room, computer labs and editing suites

Articulation Options
Students may apply to study the Diploma as a single qualification or, the articulated option, which provides direct
entry to the program below upon successful completion of the Diploma:

This course is eligible for the Commonwealth VET FEE-HELP loan scheme
Successful completion of the Diploma of Screen & Media (Film & TV Production) will guarantee you a place into
the second year of the Bachelor of Screen Production (Live Action), delivered by TAFE Queensland Brisbane in
partnership with the University if Canberra and Holmesglen Institute. Students can also pathway to other
universities; the level of credit given, depends upon individual university requirements. Graduating students will
finish their studies with a comprehensive portfolio applicable to industry entry.
