Inviting Family to Visit If you are a student that needs an entry visa to come to Canada and want to invite your family members to visit, then there are three (3) main things that you will need to prepare: 1. Invitation Letter (Please see the attached template for reference) Supporting Documents: 2. A Copy of Study Permit 3. A Status Letter (purchased from Registrar's Office $7) A template of the Invitation Letter is also available in the International Student Centre (ISC) office – IC349 (Instructional Centre – new building). This is a letter that is necessary for you to write as an invitation for your family members. In this letter, you will basically invite them and also notify them of certain expenses that may be required of them, before, during and after their arrival in Canada. More details are included in the template. The original letter, signed by you, needs to be sent to the family member you are inviting, along with the supporting documentations mentioned above.
