EDM Series
EDM 80-EDM 80L
Description
The EDM Series of axial extractor fans
consists of four nominal product sizes, the
EDM-80 -100,-160 and -200 models. The
EDM series have been designed for domestic
ventilation applications and are easy to install,
offer quiet operation, aesthetically pleasing
and are available with a variety of operational
specifications. Air flow performances range
from 80 up to 200 m3/hr.
The EDM Series are ideally suited for wall or
ceiling mounted installations and for short
duct run extract applications. To compliment
the fans a wide range of ancillary accessories
are available.
EDM 100
EDM 200
Range
The EDM Series consists of four different
models: – EDM-80
– EDM-100
– EDM-160
– EDM-200
The EDM-80 is available in four different
versions all with airflow performances of 80
m3/hr.
– The EDM-200 is available in seven different
versions all with airflow performances of
180m3/hr.
– The EDM-200 S is the basic model, then the
other six models are available incorporating
a neon light, adjustable or fixed Run-OnTimer, automatic shutter, pull cord switch
and adjustable humidistat.
Construction
– EDM-80: Basic Model
– EDM-80 L: This model is designed to be
fitted in the place of a natural ventilation
grille, 10 x 20 cm.
– EDM-80 T and 80 LT: These two models are
identical to the above with the addition of an
adjustable Run-On-Timer facility. The timer
can be varied between 1 – 30 minutes.
– The EDM-100 is available in twelve different
versions all with airflow performances of 95
m3/hr.
– The EDM-100 S is the basic model, then
other versions are available incorporating
neon lights, adjustable or fixed run-on-timer,
automatic shutter, pull cord switch, photoelectric cell operation, adjustable humidistat
and glass mounting adapter.
– The EDM-100 12V are Safety Extra Low
Voltage axial extractors for domestic bathroom, shower, and toilet areas. The fans are
designed for the safe operation within water
spray areas of bathrooms and toilet areas.
– The EDM-160 is available in two different
versions all with airflow performances of 160
m3/hr.
– EDM-160: Basic Model.
– EDM-160 R: This model incorporates a fixed
Run-On-Timer facility. The timer is pre-set
for 8 minutes additional operation after the
user has switched the fan off.

The EDM extractor fan casings and impellers
are manufactured from tough injection
moulded plastic. The following standard
specifications apply:

All motors are single-phase, shaded pole,
type:
– 230V – 50Hz.
These low consumption electric motors are
fitted with internal thermal protection device
to protect against abnormal overheating:
– by impedance on the EDM-80 and EDM-100.
– by thermal fuse on the EDM-160 and
EDM-200.
The maximum working ambient air temperature for the EDM series models is 40 ºC. The
motors from the EDM series can be speed
controlled by means of voltage regulation.

and RH). When the level of humidity rises
above the selected level, the fan is automatically switched On.
EDM-100 VMH

switched On.

fans and should be located out of the reach of the water spray or person
using a bath or shower.

The EDM-160 models are suitable for the extraction of odours and moisture from toilets, bathrooms, utility and all small rooms requiring ventilation.
The transformer (CT-12/14) included with all low voltage EDM fans must be installed away from direct sources of water spray and out of reach of a
person using a bath or shower (by definition this prohibited area area for installation consists of an area of 1m in length x 1m in width x 2.5m in
height around the bath or shower fixtures).
