Directions to Gardner Fish & Gun Club, 538 Clark St., Gardner,
MA:
FROM Route 2 West: Route 2 West to Exit 24B. Follow Route 140 North
for 4.5 miles and take left onto Green St. Take first right after about ½ mile,
onto Eaton St. Travel ½ mile, take first right onto Clark St. The site is 1.2
miles on left.
FROM Route 2 East: Route 2 East to Exit 22 to Route 68; follow through
downtown Gardner (about 1.9 miles). Take right onto Acadia Rd and follow
to end. Right onto Ryan St. Take left onto Clark St. The site is 1.2 miles on
the left.
FROM I-91: Take Route 2 East. Follow directions for Rt 2 East above.
FROM I-495: Take Route 2 West. Follow directions for Rt 2 West above.
FROM I-84 east: Take I-84 east, I-90 east, I-290 east, I-190 north, Route 2
west. Follow directions for Rt 2 West above.

Each Trial Entry limit: 120 a day per Judge or 8 hours per ring.

CLASSES OFFERED:
Optional class-Instinct: Dogs may enter the Instinct class and the
Novice class at the same trial until a RATN title is earned
Regular classes-Novice, Open, Senior & Master: only 1 regular class
may be entered at each trial
Running Order:
Dogs will be run in height order with dogs being handled by the same
person separated into different staged groups.

Large:
Dogs over 18"
Dogs are measured at the option of the judge
NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS:
Registration numbers, Barn Hunt Regulations, and more
information may be obtained on the website, www.barnhunt.com
 Any dog of any breed or mix, six months of age or older, may
participate in Barn Hunt Trials. The only limitation is that the
dog must be able to fit through an 18” wide by approximately
22” high “tunnel” made of straw/hay bales.
 Entry Fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is
absent, disqualified, excused, or barred from competition by
the action of the Trial Committee.
 No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be
completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, and act of
God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other
causes beyond the control of the organizing committee.
 After the trial closes, entry fees will not be refunded
 The use of flexi-leads on the show grounds is not permitted
during show hours.
 All dogs must be on leash at all times except when in the ring
for judging.
 Exhibitors are responsible to clean up after their dogs.
 Exhibitors are responsible for being ready to go to the staging
area, in the staging area, and waiting for the call to the gate
when it is their turn to run. The judge need not wait for any dog
holding up a class. The club has no obligation or responsibility
for providing service through a public address system or
steward for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not
brought to the ring when required.

ELIGIBILITY OF DOGS:
Any dog of any breed or mix, six months of age or older, may
participate in Barn Hunt Trials. The only limitation is that the dog must
be able to fit through an 18” wide by approximately 22” high “tunnel”
made of straw/hay bales.
Dogs must be registered with the Barn Hunt Association to enter
and participate in this trial. To register your dog and receive a BHA
number, see barnhunt.com/registeryourdog. Please allow at least
48 hours to receive a registration number.
BITCHES IN SEASON:
Bitches in season may compete at this trial but must be kept
separate from all other dogs and will be run at the end of their
class. Entry fees for bitches that come into season will be refunded
until closing time of the trial if you wish to withdraw. After the trial
closes, entry fees will not be refunded. If bringing a bitch in season,
please inform the trial committee prior to the trial and inform all
exhibitors at the judge’s briefing. Bitches in season will be required
to compete in pants and use designated parking/exercise area.
AWARDS:
Rosettes will be awarded for first through fourth place in Novice, Open,
and Senior classes in each height division. Ribbons will be awarded for
all qualifiers in the regular classes and the Instinct Test. Title rosettes
will be awarded to all dogs earning a title.

while in or upon the premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally
assume all responsibility and liability for such claim, and I (we) further agree to hold the
aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for damage or injury to the dog or myself,
either physically or mentally, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury, be

interfere with adjacent setups. Diverters recommended.

Smoking: is not permitted under club tents, pavilions, in waiting areas,
or within 50 feet of Barn Hunt courses, or any other areas where
people are required to gather.
An area will be designated for Bitches in Season parking. Please
refrain from parking in any area where the ground is wet. All other
parking is on a first come/first serve basis.
Permission has been granted by the Barn Hunt Association, LLC for the holding of these Barn
Hunt trials under BHA Rules and Regulations.
