NO SCHOOL IN SESSION
November 10th & 11th
All schools in CUSD will be closed on Monday, November
10, 2014 due to a Staff Development Day. School will also
be closed on November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day
We look forward to seeing your child on Wednesday, November 12th. No late starts or block schedule this week. Daily start time will be 7:40 am and release time remains at 2:25
pm.
SHORT NOTES
Winter Sports
Winter Sports tryouts will begin on Monday, November 3rd. Sports
include: Boys and Girls Soccer, Boys and Girls Basketball, Wrestling
and Gymnastics. If you are interested in participating, please make
sure you have your physical form completed and turned in if you did
not play a fall sport. Physicals are good for one calendar year.

The Clovis West Area SOAR Program has kicked the year off
with tons of activities and events. We want to thank all the
parents who attended our Back to School Night Parent Workshop and our October Parent Connect and Student Support
Workshop. You can receive a copy of the PowerPoint and
handout from our website which is updated throughout the

29th & Oct 30 the CWHS Counseling Team will be at Kastner

Box Tops

The Box Tops are rolling in, and that means so will some money for our school.
Reminder: Bags of 20 tops; Student’s name and 2nd period
teacher on the bag; trimmed and not expired.
Daylight Savings Time Ends
Don’t forget that daylight savings time will end on
November 2nd, so clocks will need to go back one
hour on Saturday.

No hay escuela el
10 y 11 de Noviembre
Todas las escuelas de CUSD estarán cerradas el lunes, 10
de noviembre de 2014 debido a un día de desarrollo personal. La escuela también se cerrará el 11 de noviembre en
observancia del día nos esperamos del veterano a ver a su
hijo el miércoles, 12 de noviembre. Retrasos ni bloque no
horario esta semana. Hora de salida diaria será de 7:40 y
tiempo de liberación se mantiene en 2:25.

Deportes de invierno
Las pruebas de deportes del invierno comenzará el lunes, noviembre 3, Deportes incluyen:
fútbol, baloncesto, lucha y gymnasia para ninas y ninos. Si usted
está interesado en participar, por favor, asegúrese de que tienes
tu forma física terminado y convertido si no jugar un deporte de
caída. Exámenes físicos son buenos para el año.
