Give your troop a summer camp experience they’ll always remember at Camp Parsons! Situated “where the mountains meet the sea”
at the foot of the Olympic Mountains on Hood Canal, Camp Parsons
is one of the oldest Scout camps operating in America. Noted in
Boy’s Life magazine as a “Pacific Northwest gem”, its remarkable
setting offers a rare experience of canoeing, sailboating and swimming in an open saltwater environment. A traditional Boy Scout
camp, Camp Parsons is known for its excellent staff and phenomenal program.

More About Camp
Founded in 1919, Camp Parsons sits on 440 acres of forested land on Hood Canal, with traditional Scout camp
activities such as rifle shooting, archery, climbing tower and advancement classes, as well as canoeing, sailing
and swimming in an open salt water aquatics area. The new dining hall will feature spacious dining area, wellequipped kitchen and heated floors. The Fort Duckabush Museum catalogs the long, storied history of this wellloved camp. Camp Parsons’ beautiful setting, along with its outstanding staff from all parts of the Pacific Northwest and
United States, provide a uniquely special experience for Scouts and their leaders.
How to Register
Registrations for this popular camp are on a first come, first served basis. Early reservations are highly recommended.

troop’s reservation. Campsites can be requested but are not guaranteed. In the charts
