President’s Message
Hello Newcomers,
This month is highlighted by the Gubernatorial General
Elections on November 4th. Make your vote count by doing your civic
duty and VOTE! Remember you only have yourself to blame if you don't
agree with the outcome. If you are not sure about the propositions;
check with a civic organization you trust and see how they will vote.
At this month's coffee meeting, we will be treated to a special
SALE of the gorgeous quilts, toys, blankets, pillowcases, and holiday gifts
lovingly made by the members of TLC Quilters. Just in time for the
holidays. Come ready to be amazed by the talent and selflessness put
into
these
items.

At last month’s Coffee meeting, we started the distribution of the
2014-2015 Carlsbad Newcomers’ Directory. They will be available for
pick-up at all coffee meetings and luncheons until January 2015. If
someone else picks yours up, they must sign for it for accountability. We

Sun. Nov. 9th, 2:00pm we will be
going to the North Coast Rep in
Solana Beach for Freud's Last
Session. This is a deeply touching
play filled with humor. It explores
the minds, hearts and souls of two
brilliant men, Freud and C.S. Lewis,
addressing the greatest questions of

return to the North Coast Rep for a

surprisingly
inventive" performance of This
