“The Twelve Days of Christmas” 2013 Elizabethtown Holiday Parade ~ Saturday, December 14, 2013 ~ Elizabethtown Borough invites your organization or business to participate in the annual Elizabethtown Holiday Parade! The parade will be held Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 6:00 PM, the rain/snow date will be Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 5:00 PM. 2013 Parade Theme: “The Twelve Days of Christmas” Line Up Time: Floats 5:00 PM Gift card prizes will be awarded, as follows: Commercial: 1st & 2nd Entries will be judged according to: Groups 5:15 PM– along West Bainbridge Street Nonprofits: 1st & 2nd places Judge’s Choice Award: 1st Place *Best Use of Theme (50%) *Originality (20%) *Charm (10%) *Technical Performance (10%) *Audio/Visual Appeal (10%) Due to Santa being the Grand Finale of the Parade – NO SANTAS are allowed in any groups of floats. Performances presented before the judges’ review stand may not exceed 1 minute. TO ACCESS THIS AREA, GO THROUGH THE DRIVEWAY OF ELIZABETHTOWN FITNESS CENTER TURN RIGHT ONTO PEACH ALLEY AND HEAD NORTH TO BAINBRIDGE STREET (DIRECTIONAL SIGNS WILL BE POSTED). 3). FOR SPECTATORS SAFETY, PLEASE HAND OUT CANDY INSTEAD OF THROWING IT TOWARD THE SPECTATORS OR ON THE STREET. 4). IMPORTANT FOR GROUPS WITH CHILDREN: PLEASE HAVE A DESIGNATED LEADER OR ADULT TO ESCORT CHILDREN TO THE APPROPRIATE LOCATION WITHIN THE STAGING AREA. THE BOROUGH AND EVENT VOLUNTEERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE TO ESCORT CHILDREN TO AN AREA OR STAY WITH CHILDREN UNTIL A GROUP LEADER IS PRESENT. 5).
