You Are Invited to the Friday Night PAC Reception
In the Sunset Suite at Salishan Resort!
Friday, October 24th – 8:00–9:30 pm
Hosted Drinks and Desserts!
Our successes in Salem in 2013 and 2014 are due to an active Government Affairs
Committee, great representation by Elizabeth Remley and her team at Thorn Run
Partners….and our members participation in our OSPA Political Action Committee
(PAC). Once again, we are hosting a PAC Reception on Friday night, October 24th
for our PAC members in 2014.
What Does it Cost to Join the OSPA PAC?
$50.00 per person (or more if you care to increase your contribution), and that’s your
ticket to attend the PAC. Last year nearly 50 people join us in the Sunset Suite. With
our goal of raising $10,000 for the 2015 Legislative Session, we’re planning to increase
the numbers of OSPA members and friends on Friday, October 24th.
How Do I Join the PAC?
It’s Simple. Visit the OSPA web site at www.oregonpa.org and click on the Advocacy
Link at the top of the page. You may join online or print the forms and return them
to our office. The PA Profession in Oregon appreciates your participation and involvement in the political process! PAC donations will be accepted at the conference!
Are you an OHSU or Pacific University PA Alum?
You are Invited to a No-Host Reception at Salishan
Friday evening, October 24th – 5:30–7:00 pm
for a casual reception and networking opportunity
with your fellow alums. More details about this event
will be posted on the OSPA web site.

OSPA Fall CME Feedback from 2013….
“Great location - Great Conference!!”
“Excellent conference again! Thank you for presenting topics that are useful to PAs. It seems
that you really listened to us. Also, great ideas with the 2 tracks. I recently switched jobs
from PCP to urgent care and found myself needing education in the hospitalist track.”
“Very pleasant — great place to learn. Great info. Thanks. Great speakers all!”
“ I feel not a moment of my time was wasted this weekend.
It was a great conference in a gorgeous setting. I’ll be back next year.
Thanks for your hard work.”

How Do I Claim My CME Credits?
On your registration form we ask you for your NCCPA number. Prior to the
2014 OSPA Fall CME, we will log you into the NCCPA system as a registrant. At
the conference, or immediately following – go to www.nccpa.net and log on to
Your Personal Certification Record. Click “Log New CME”, and then click on our
Conference which will be linked on your page.
Each day – check those meetings you attended – and your participation in that
session is linked with your CME files. In addition, we’ll have CME Attendance Forms
printed for each day’s activities.
Accessing PDF Copies of the Presenters’ Presentation
In order to maintain the ‘green-ness’ that makes Oregon special, we do not print
a course syllabus. Instead we request that the presenters send our office their
PowerPoint presentations in advance of the meeting. Once these are received, we
post the PDF files to our web site – www.oregonpa.org – and allow you to download
the presentations in advance of the meeting. You can print the presentations for your
own files, or just download them to your personal computer or tablet, and follow the
presentations with the presenter.
We expect to have the presentation page live shortly after mid-September, and will be
regularly updating the presentations as they are received from the presenters.
