Firms/NGO desirous of participation should apply in writing to C.E.O. Uttarakhand Handloom & Handicraft Development Council, Directorate of Industries, Uttarakhand, Patel Nagar, Dehradun in the prescribed format with participation charges. Application along with the Demand Draft can also be submitted in DIC’s before due date. For issue of Photo I-card, please attach 2 latest color photographs of 3 persons, who will be available in the stall. The color of shirt should not be in contrast to the background color (not in same color). Since the space available is very limited, the firm may send detailed of Demand draft along with the application. The space allotted will be subject to availability of space and the allotted space will be intimated to the participant by 25th October, 2014. Selection of the participant will be done by committee and the committee has a right to reject any application without assigning any reason. Pavilion Director would make allocation of available space in the show premises at its discretion and its decision in the regard will be final and binding on all. Participants will make their own arrangements for dispatching the exhibits for display and bringing them back after display. Pavilion Director will arrange clearance exhibit. Exhibits of participants whose representatives do not turn-up at the fair in time will not be displayed. Participants will make their own arrangement for removing the exhibits from the packing cases and displaying them in the booth, likewise, after the fair participants will make their own arrangement for repacking. Participants will not be allowed to remove the exhibits during the show without written permission from Pavilion Director, Uttarakhand. Participants will be required to furnish complete information on orders booked, enquiries generated etc. during the fair after the close of the show. Participants will adhere to such other regulation as may be prescribed by the Director of Industries, Uttarakhand. Participants will comply with the instruction regarding packing and dispatch of exhibits and other matters concerning their participation. All expenses for travels to and from and stay in Delhi including boarding and lodging etc. will be borne by the Participants. Government of Uttarakhand shall not be liable for any damage or loss of exhibit during transit or during the fair. Possession of allotted space will be handed over on 10th November, 2014. Pavilion should be completed in all respects by 11th November, 2014. The stall’s which will not be ready by 11th November, 2014 will invite penalty/cancellation. Participants shall be responsible for the payments of Trade Tax/VAT as per rules of the Trade Tax Department. Participants who are conducting sales during IITF-2014 to compulsorily register as causal dealers if not already registered under Delhi VAT at prior to the start of IITF-2014. Breach of these provisions would attract penalty. In case of any dispute arise about the interpretation of the aforesaid rules of any other matter, the decision of the Secretary, MSME, Govt. of Uttarakhand shall be final and binding.
