ABOUT THE EVENT
The report of the second round of the National Audit of Schizophrenia (NAS) is being launched on the morning of Friday
10 October 2014 at our ‘Launch Event’ in London. This has been timed to coincide with World Mental Health Day, the
theme of which this year is ‘Living with Schizophrenia’.
The National Audit of Schizophrenia is an initiative of the Royal College of Psychiatrist's Centre for Quality Improvement
(CCQI). It is commissioned by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) as part of the National Clinical
Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP). It is a Trust level audit consisting of an audit of practice plus patient
experience and carer satisfaction surveys.
The Yorkshire and Humber, North East and East Midlands Regional Learning Event gives Trusts the opportunity to come
together with the National Audit team to discuss their own local results and consider relevant service
development/planning issues.
