FinCEAL PLUS TRAVEL GRANTS

FinCEAL Plus is glad to announce the results of the first Open Call for FinCEAL Plus Travel
Grants. The call was open from April 15th to May 15th 2015. The aim of the grants is to
support Finland-based researchers interested in attending policy related workshops,
networking events or conferences focusing on Science, Technology and Innovation
cooperation with Africa, Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) within the FinCEAL+
regional themes.
In this Call, FinCEAL Plus received 36 applications and awarded a total of 30 grants (of which
21 grants were for researchers and 9 for PhD candidates). 12 grants were awarded for Africarelated travel, 11 for LAC and 7 for Asia. Congratulation to all successful candidates!
