The Availity Web Portal offers a wide variety of online tools that allows you to access real-time information from multiple payers via one secure signSM on. In addition, Availity gives users a streamlined way to access MyAnthem . While MyAnthem remains your source for online remittance advice, professional fee schedules and other proprietary information, you get there exclusively via the Availity Web Portal. A secure multi-health plan portal Availity's secure multi-health plan web portal helps improve efficiency and streamline health plan administration by allowing quick and efficient access to payers’ information with one log-in. Get the information you need instantly Access real-time eligibility, benefits, and claims status information and much more through one secure web portal at www.availity.com. You can submit eligibility and benefit inquiries for single or multiple members, for multiple plans, and receive a consolidated response in a consistent format. • Member eligibility and benefits inquiry – Get real-time patient eligibility, benefits, and accumulative data, including current and historical coverage information, plus detailed co-insurance, co-payment and deductible information for ALL members, including BlueCard® and Federal Employee Program® (FEP). • Claim status inquiry – See details and payment information, including claim line-level details/processing. • Patient care summary – View a member’s consolidated medical history, based on claims information across multiple providers, in real time. • Care reminders – Receive clinical alerts on members’ care gaps and medication compliance indicators, when available. • Secure Messaging* -- Send a question to clarify the status of a claim or get additional information on claims. • AIM Specialty Health®* -- Access AIM for precertification of Diagnostic Imaging, Specialty Rx, Radiation Therapy and Sleep Management services. • Member Certificate Booklet -- View a local plan member’s certificate of coverage, when available. • Online Remittances and more on MyAnthem, the secure Anthem portal* – The system will automatically redirect you to MyAnthem when you select My Payer Portals from the left menu navigation bar and then select Anthem Provider Portal. Availity’s statement of compliance is available at www.availity.com. How to get started To register for access to Availity, go to www.availity.com/providers/registration-details/. It's that simple! Navigate from Availity to MyAnthem Users who want to view information housed on MyAnthem require the following: a) MyAnthem ID also known as the Health Plan User ID b) Availity ID & Password To register your organization’s Tax ID for the first time on MyAnthem, go to www.anthem.com and navigate to the Provider Home page. Click Register Now to begin the initial registration. If your Tax ID is already registered on MyAnthem, you can take a short cut from the Provider Home page to the Availity Web Portal and from there, continue taking the steps to log into MyAnthem. To register an Availity user for Anthem services The Availity PAA must complete the following process: 1. Log in to Availity and click My Account | Anthem Services Registration. If prompted, select your organization next. 2. In the Display field, click Non-Registered Users. 3. Enter the user’s Health Plan User ID in the field provided. a. To enable the Register button, enter one or more users’ Health Plan User IDs. b. If the user does not have an Anthem ID, please contact the organization’s My Anthem Site Administrator to obtain one, and then return to this page to register the user. Note: The user’s First Name and Last Name must match exactly on MyAnthem and on Availity for this step to be successful. If this registration step is unsuccessful, go to the user’s profile on either MyAnthem or Availity to change whichever profile shows incorrect information. If the same individuals are listed as both Site Administrator on MyAnthem and PAA (or PAA Assistants) on Availity, it is much easier to maintain User profiles and make any necessary changes If registration is successful, the user(s) can begin using Availity’s services immediately. If an error message displays, the registration or change was not successful for that user. Review the message and verify the information you entered. Make note of the Transaction ID if you need to contact Availity Client Services. Need Training?
