FROM DR. SHAWA:
A RETURN ON YOUR INVESTMENT
Private education is expensive. We all are aware that sacrifices must be made for our students to attend HCA.
Therefore, we must do everything possible to make sure that our students are receiving the very best in their
educational pursuits.
I do not want HCA to be known primarily as an “anti-common core” school. We are for high standards, and our
students are afforded a Christ-centered, college-prepared education. Our test scores show that our students are
prepared to pursue their futures wherever God may lead them.
The return on your investment will be seen in the days, weeks, and years to come. This has been demonstrated in
my own family. One of our greatest challenges and responsibilities is our family. We only have this opportunity to
provide the very best that we can for each of them. We certainly need God’s strength and wisdom for the task.
I commend each of you as I witness your student’s growth in maturity and spiritual development. They are all at
different levels of development, and some are still deciding about yielding their entire body, soul, and spirit to the
Lord. But for many it is evident that they are seeking a deeper relationship with Christ.
Thanks for investing in the future of your students. Thank you for desiring them to be in a school where the Lord is
invited into each classroom.
Each child is a blessing and a special gift from God!
Thank you, Lord, for your blessings,
Ray Shawa, Jr.
WARRIOR NATION FAMILY
We have been presented with an opportunity to have an HCA float in the Lake Charles Christmas parade. If you
would like to help decorate the float, please call the office and leave your name and number.
We also need donations to help cover the cost of decorating the float. If the Lord has given you financial blessings,
perhaps you could help in this endeavor. It will be great advertising and outreach, as well as a great witness to who
we are here at HCA!
