How many are deployed in your Data Center?
The objective of this presentation is to show how with BMC Remedy Asset
management you can manage the software licenses deploy in a Data Center.
To demonstrate it, in this presentation we will use an example base on the
product BMC Patrol (BMC Performance Manager).

How do you know the number of BMC Patrol licenses are deployed?
BMC Patrol is licensed by number of CPUs.
BMC Patrol product will be installed in a Server that it will have several CPUs.
Them we will have BMC Atrium CMDB relationship:
-
BMC Patrol product = BMC_PRODUCT
This Product will be installed in a Server = BMC_ComputerSystem
This Server will have several CPUs = BMC_PROCESSOR
Example:
-
Server A with BMC Patrol installed and 2 CPUs
Server B with BMC Patrol installed and 1 CPU
Total of BMC Patrol licenses deployed = 3
