today’s largest data management systems, reviewed and monitored tests performed by SAP on a typical
configuration
Testing involved a simulated high-workload use of SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation,
version for SAP NetWeaver for planning, consolidation, and combined planning and consolidation scenarios
for 50, 250, and 500 concurrent users
Highlights of WinterCorp’s findings include:
 The tests established that the configuration specified exhibited better than linear scalability in processor
consumption as the number of concurrent users increased from 50 to 500
 Scalability from 50 to 500 concurrent users in key sub processes was better than linear on average in all
scenarios
