The objective was to collate peoples views and experiences regarding the website, so subsequent changes made are reflected in the service-users needs, experiences and views. Questions asked 1. What do you like about the website? 2. Have you had any difficulties with the website? 3. Are there any improvements you can suggest? 4. Would you like to include any additional information? Results What do you like about the website? I “ Easy contact with other group members for general messages open to everyone.” “ The fact that I can receive alerts on my own e-mail account is invaluable.” “ Professional look, friendly people, welcoming people.” What do you like about the website? II “ Privacy – Monitored Membership.” “ Able to give and receive mutual support from others in similar situations.” Have you had any difficulties with the website? “ I found the initial learning confusing, making it easier for new members would help.” “ There does not seem to be many posts or they are hard to find.” “ Tags” and “Topics”. Confusion all round! Why call “topics , tags ?” Are there any improvements you can suggest? “ Please, please can we change the username to first name and surname.” “ Would like to see a “chat live” style forum with live conversation.” “ Old tags archived.” “ Relevant information such as , forthcoming events sent via email.” “ The resource pg tab needs to be expanded with a summary and explanation of each resource shown.” Would you like to include any additional information? “ Site too quite – still needs to encourage use of all.” Handouts I 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
