Danske Bank and Realkredit Danmark finances Nordic logistics portfolio 27 May 2015 Danske Bank and Realkredit Danm ark provides financing in connection with the largest prime logistics transaction in the Nordics Danske Bank, Denmark’s largest bank (ticker: DANSKE) and Realkredit Danmark, one of the largest players in the Danish mortgage market, have provided financing by a combination of bank and mortgage loans in connection w ith an acquisition of a logistics portfolio located in Denmark, Sw eden and Finland by a consortium of Danish pension funds. The portfolio, consisting of 28 logistics properties located in key distribution hubs across Sweden, Finland and Denmark, was sold to a consortium of Danish pension funds by NREP Logistics AB, a fund managed by Nordic Real Estate Partners AB. The transaction v alue amounts to approximately EUR 650 million . Prior to the acquisition, the portfolio was financed by a number of banks. Danske Bank and Realkredit Danmark hav e refinanced the portfolio by a combination of mortgage loans and bank loans securing long term financing of the portfolio.
