The executive board of the John J.
Wyszomirski Post 701 American Legion,
123 W. Main St., will meet at 7 p.m. at
the post. Recent projects on the exterior
of the building will be discussed.

CASA of Fulton and Montgomery
Counties and Centro Civico of
Amsterdam Inc., 143-145 E. Main St.,
will host a pair of programs on human
trafficking, and exploited and missing
children. The first will take place 3 to
5 p.m., the second 6 to 8 p.m. The
program will feature John Kelly, community educator from the Center for
Exploited and Missing Children,
Saratoga Springs. If the schedule permits, the event will additionally feature
FBI Special Agent Dave Fallon. This

The A.M.E.N. Place Soup Kitchen

Amsterdam, will hold a chicken barbecue from 1 to 5 p.m. Dinners are $9
and include a half chicken, baked

A champagne masquerade will be
held at the Century Club, Guy Park
Avenue, from 6 to 9 p.m. The cost is
$25 per person or $40 per couple.

Ave., Amsterdam, will host a “ladies
night out” event at 7 p.m. Anita
Renfroe’s DVD, “It’s Probably Just My
Thyroid.” will be shown. Participants
are encouraged to bring a friend and
a small dessert to share. Babysitting
will be provided.

Ave., will host Mark Lawson, Nancy
Toomer and Dennis Holzman for an
antique appraisal and buy-back event
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Montgomery County Ladies of
Charity will host a chicken parmesan
dinner at the Amsterdam Muni
Clubhouse from 4 to 7 p.m. Dinners
include chicken, pasta, salad, beverage and dessert. Adult meals cost

Possibility Morgan Youth Club and
Possibility Stables, 435 Stevers Mills
Road, will host a free fall open house
from 2 to 4 p.m. It will feature apple
bobbing, doughnuts, trick-or-treating, a

Sir William Johnson Seniors will host
their sixth annual harvest luncheon
from noon to 3 p.m. at the village
Hall, 1 Prospect St. The event is open
to the public. Tickets are $5 and
include soup, sandwich, dessert, coffee, and tea.
GLEN
Glen Volunteer Fire Department will
host its annual ziti supper from 4 to 7
p.m. at the fire station, Auriesville
Road. The dinner is $8 for adults, $4
for children ages 6-12, and kids 5 and
under eat free. Take-out available.
Dinner includes ziti, tossed salad,
meatballs, beverage and dessert.

Trick-or-treating will be held from 6
to 8 p.m. The Amsterdam Police
Department is encourages adults to
accompany children, and to be alert
to traffic. Residents who want trick-ortreaters to visit them should keep
their porch lights on, and children
should only stop at these houses.
Parents are reminded to report any
suspicious treats given to their children, and the APD recommends trickor-treaters restrict their visits to familiar houses and neighborhoods.

The Time for Truth Ministries, 46
Market St., will host “Hallelujah Night:
Light the Night with Jesus,” at 6 p.m.
Families are invited to join the event,

host a “zombie bash” Friday, Oct. 31,

and wish to donate, have your donation available Friday night.
