LET’S GET ACQUAINTED By Midge Berry Although born in Salt Lake City, Sheila LaPrade spent her “growing up” years in San Francisco. Her passion for astrology led her to study at the Astrological Faculty of San Francisco and become a member of the American Federation of Astrologers. Later she became a member at the San Diego Astrological Society. Astrology was a source of income through charts and teaching for years. . A busy woman, she has worked in many fields including Social Services here and in Tucson, manager of a private VFW Club, 8 years in the ministry teaching, counseling, head of prayer circle and delivering Sunday Services. Sheila is currently licensed in the State of CA through The Teaching of Intuitional Metaphysics. She does weddings, funerals and is working on a Bible Study Class. On the lighter side, Sheila was with the El Cajon Elks Lodge Follies and a Red Hat Queen for 10 years. Phew! All that and she finds time to arrange the Dine Out dinners for WOW. We all thank you Sheila, and a special thanks from WOW Members west of La Mesa for arranging luncheons in our area! OUR SUNSHINE LADY Grace Lassiter Know a member who is sick?
