Awards Banquet

The 50th Annual Chamber Awards Banquet was held Tuesday, October 28 at the Belle Glade Elks Lodge with almost 240 people in
attendance. Shown above is Eddie Lee Rhodes, recipient of the
coveted “Citizen of the Year” award, presented by Mary Evans.
A big THANK YOU to all our sponsors and attendees, who made

Agri-Industrial Man Of The Year John L. Hundley
We welcome three new Chamber members this month.
The C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinic - The clinic offers adult
and pediatric medical care five days a week. Elizabeth Nieves, practice
manager, says, “We want to be the medical home for all our patients
and encourage our patients to consider us their primary care provider

Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County, - Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County provides education and access to care to pregnant women in Palm
Beach County.
The organization recently opened an office in Belle Glade to provide
Centering Pregnancy to pregnant women in the tri-city area through a
partnership with OB/GYN Specialists of Lakeside. This group prenatal
care program is an evidence-based model of care which supports the
delivery of healthy babies through health assessment, education and
support of women in the program.

Rotary Turkey Shoot
The Belle Glade Rotary Club is
hosting their annual Turkey
Shoot on Wednesday, Nov. 19
and Thursday, Nov. 20 from 6
to 10 p.m. The cost is $3 per
shot. There will be a kids shoot,
a ladies shoot and a regular
shoot, plus raffle prize drawings and food for sale. The
event will be at 628 NW Ave.
