IN HHP PARADISE
Bear Creek Members and
124 HHP Residents attended a POA
sponsored Jimmy Buffet night at our
club. It was a huge hit! The weather
was mild so it was a beautiful night
out on our patio. We had live music
and dancing outside and many
“Parrotheads” enjoyed the evening!
using it early while the selection is good.
See you at the club!

From the Pro
Happy Thanksgiving! It is time to start
thinking about pulling out those
sweaters again. There is nothing better
than playing 18 holes of golf and not
sweating a drop! This is coming from a
northerner though! Some of my favorite
Bear Creek events are in November. For
the men we have our very popular Ryder
Cup event and also the traditional MGA
Turkey Shoot! The ladies are hosting a
Trick or Treat Twilight and also have the
annual Pumpkin Patch Event. Please join
us for these great events.
Stop in the golf shop and get a start on
your holiday shopping. Most of the new
merchandise has arrived and is out on
the floor. The ladies EP Pro looks great
and the new Windstopper Sweaters
for men are a
must for those
Men’s Invitational
cool days.
Remember that
your golf shop
credit will expire
at the end of the
year, so plan on

Update
Happy fall! We have been blessed
(finally!) with great weather. We have
raised fairway heights and the greens
are getting back to normal. And yes,
rolling fast. So come out and enjoy good
weather and course conditions.
See you on the course!

Diane DeWitt, Queen of Soup, is the
first winner of this new award at Bear
Creek! And she couldn’t be
more deserving.
Diane helped with
implementing the new
menu and is always the
first to offer a helping
hand. We are very lucky to
have her. Make sure you
stop by the kitchen to sing
her praises! Yeah Diane!

With 24 teams and absolutely
perfect weather every day, the
Men’s Invitational was a grand success!
Great golf conditions combined with
Susan's tasty food made for a wonderful
three day event. Thank you to all who
came out to support the shootout on
Saturday, too! The cheering section from
the patio made all the difference! And a
big congratulations to Bill Stoops and
Bear Creek hosted the 5th annual
his guest Bill Brock, for winning the
fundraiser benefiting The Honor
whole tournament!

The day was perfect with a crisp
and clear morning sky, a beautiful
backdrop for our parachute jumpers
to begin the event. They landed
on our driving range, one trailing
the American Flag. It was a
beautiful sight.
