To assist with delivery of the campaign to candidates across assigned portfolio of universities to ensure Teach First fills its required vacancies with top quality candidates. Key accountabilities Responsibilities fall into the following areas, which include, but are not limited to: Support candidates through the recruitment process at designated Universities in line with guidelines set by the Selection team Support with proactive sourcing methods including LinkedIn and campus research Cultivate potential talent and incoming participants through regular telephone calls Compelling potential candidates from a variety of backgrounds to apply for the Leadership Development Programme Complete weekly activity reports to track progress to goals Support with administration and support tasks including event preparation, meeting scheduling and management and other key admin tasks where required Support Graduate Recruitment Officers to obtain campus intelligence and maintain detailed intelligence records as required Contribute to department-wide projects where required Technical competencies Knowledge and preferably experience of UK Universities (type & education system) In depth knowledge of Teach First Leadership Development Programme and recruitment process Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem solving skills to identify challenges and implement solutions to significant challenges Exceptional relationship-building skills; the ability to establish effective relationships with people from all backgrounds (including prospective applicants, incoming participants and Teach First employees) Excellent persuasive oral communication skills; the ability to effectively tailor messaging to individual candidates resulting in applications to Teach First Strong organisational skills and the ability to assess, prioritise and manage a varied workload Efficient, task-focused individual with an eye for detail Ability to be flexible and adapt to unexpected changes in portfolio priorities and tasks Strong computer literacy including excel and ability to develop knowledge and proficiency of Teach First’s relationship management system Competencies required Commitment Championing Teach First Demonstrates a passion for what Teach First aims to achieve.
