Στα περισσότερα πανεπιστήμια μαζί με την αίτηση για μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές, ζητείται να καταθέσετε μία έκθεση ενδιαφερόντων/αυτοπεριγραφική έκθεση/προσωπική δήλωση, όπου με συντομία πρέπει να δώσετε πληροφορίες για τις σπουδές, τις γνώσεις σας και τους λόγους για τους οποίους επιλέγετε το συγκεκριμένο μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα. Η αυτοπεριγραφική έκθεση θα μπορούσε να είναι ο καθοριστικός παράγοντας για την εισδοχή σας στο μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα που σας ενδιαφέρει. Η προσωπική έκθεση είναι η ευκαιρία σας για ν’ αποδείξετε ότι έχετε αυτό που θέλουν, όπως ενθουσιασμό και τις γνώσεις, ικανότητες καθώς και εργασιακή εμπειρία σε σχέση με το μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα που σας ενδιαφέρει και θέλετε ν’ ακολουθήσετε. Είναι η ευκαιρία σας ν’ απευθυνθείτε στους υπευθύνους επιλογής και ν’ αναδείξετε αποτελεσματικά τον εαυτό σας ,ώστε να ξεχωρίσετε και ν’ ενισχύσετε τις πιθανότητές επιλογής σας. Επίσης, είναι το στοιχείο που γέρνει την ζυγαριά ανάμεσα σε δυο ισάξιους υποψήφιους μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές. Είναι ιδιαίτερα σημαντική όταν ο φοιτητής προσπαθεί να κερδίσει μία θέση σε ιδιαίτερα ανταγωνιστικά μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα (που προσφέρουν δηλαδή λίγες θέσεις κάθε ακαδημαϊκό έτος). Επιπλέον, δίνεται στον υποψήφιο η δυνατότητα να βρει την ατομική του φωνή και ν’ εκφραστεί με απόλυτη ειλικρίνεια. Στόχος σας λοιπόν, είναι να κερδίσετε το ενδιαφέρον του αξιολογητή. Για τους περισσότερους φοιτητές η σύνταξη της "έκθεσης", αποτελεί ίσως το πιο δύσκολο μέρος της διαδικασίας συμπλήρωσης της αίτησης τους. Στην πραγματικότητα δεν υπάρχει κανένας προκαθορισμένος τρόπος συγγραφής ούτε συγκεκριμένοι κανόνες ως προς το περιεχόμενο. Αξιοσημείωτο είναι το γεγονός πως πολλοί φοιτητές έχουν μια μπερδεμένη εικόνα στο μυαλό τους σχετικά με το βιογραφικό σημείωμα και την αυτοπεριγραφική έκθεση. Η αυτοπεριγραφική έκθεση και το βιογραφικό σημείωμα είναι δύο ξεχωριστά κομμάτια. Το βιογραφικό σημείωμα αποτελεί ένα προσωπικό εργαλείο διαφήμισης, ένα μέσο προβολής του εαυτού σας μέσω του οποίου καταδεικνύει ο νέος υποψήφιος τα προσόντα του, τις δεξιότητες και την εμπειρία του. Οι θεματικές ενότητες που περιλαμβάνει είναι προσωπικά στοιχεία, εκπαίδευση – σπουδές, επαγγελματική πείρα, επιπρόσθετες ικανότητες και δεξιότητες , ενδιαφέροντα και συστάσεις. Σε αντίθεση η αυτοπεριγραφική έκθεση, αντανακλά την προσωπικότητα σας, την ιστορία σας, είναι με λίγα λόγια η καρδιά της αίτησης σας. Είναι η ευκαιρία σας να μιλήσετε για τον εαυτό σας, τις ελπίδες σας, τις εμπειρίες και τις φιλοδοξίες σας. Εμείς δεν θέλουμε να χάνουμε καμιά ιδέα, όσο εξωφρενική και παράλογη μπορεί να χαρακτηριστεί με τα σημερινά δεδομένα. Τα δεδομένα αλλάζουν, έτσι μπορεί μια τέτοια ιδέα να είναι απόλυτα λογική και εφικτή στο μέλλον. Έτσι και εμείς κάναμε το κουτί μας μέσα στο οποίο θα βάζουμε όλες τις ιδέες μας χωρίς καμία λογοκρισία. Θα σκεφτόμαστε «έξω από το κουτί» αλλά θα τις αποθηκεύουμε μέσα στο κουτί μας. Η πρακτική άσκηση στο Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο Το Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο παρέχει διάφορες δυνατότητες πρακτικής άσκησης στους κόλπους της Γενικής Γραμματείας του, προκειμένου να προσφέρει ευκαιρίες για επαγγελματική κατάρτιση και για γνωριμία με το ίδιο και έργο του. Πρακτική άσκηση για πτυχιούχους πανεπιστημίου - γενικός τομέας ή τομέας δημοσιογραφίας (Υποτροφίες Schuman) Η πρακτική άσκηση για πτυχιούχους πανεπιστημίου έχει ως σκοπό τη συμπλήρωση των γνώσεων που απέκτησαν κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών τους και την εξοικείωση τους με τις δραστηριότητες της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και, ειδικότερα, του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου. Οι περίοδοι άσκησης καλύπτουν τους ακόλουθους τομείς: υποτροφίες Robert Schuman, γενικός τομέας υποτροφίες Robert Schuman, τομέας δημοσιογραφίας. Οι υποψήφιοι για πρακτική άσκηση για πτυχιούχους πανεπιστημίου οφείλουν. να έχουν την ιθαγένεια ενός κράτους μέλους της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης ή μιας υποψήφιας προς ένταξη στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση χώρας, υπό την επιφύλαξη του άρθρου 5, παραγράφου 2, των Εσωτερικών Διατάξεων; να είναι ηλικίας 18 ετών κατά την ημερομηνία έναρξης της πρακτικής άσκησης; να γνωρίζουν άριστα μία από τις επίσημες γλώσσες της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης; να μην έχουν μετάσχει σε άλλη περίοδο πρακτικής άσκησης και να μην έχουν απασχοληθεί επ' αμοιβή για διάστημα μεγαλύτερο των τεσσάρων συνεχών εβδομάδων επιβαρύνοντας τον προϋπολογισμό της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης. Οι υποψήφιοι για τις περιόδους άσκησης Robert Schuman, τομέας δημοσιογραφίας, πρέπει επιπλέον να διαθέτουν ανάλογα επαγγελματικά προσόντα που αποδεικνύονται από δημοσιεύσεις, από τη συμμετοχή τους ως μελών σε ένωση δημοσιογράφων κράτους μέλους της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, ή από την απόκτηση τίτλου δημοσιογραφικής εκπαίδευσης αναγνωριζόμενου στα κράτη μέλη ή στα υποψήφια κράτη μέλη της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης. Η διάρκεια των περιόδων άσκησης είναι πέντε μήνες χωρίς δυνατότητα παράτασης. Ημερομηνίες περιόδων πρακτικής άσκησης και προθεσμίες υποβολής των αιτήσεων Περίοδος υποβολής αίτησης Περίοδος πρακτικής άσκησης 15 Αυγούστου έως 15 Οκτωβρίου (τα μεσάνυχτα) 1 Μαρτίου έως 31 Ιουλίου 15 Μαρτίου έως 15 Μαΐου (τα μεσάνυχτα) 1 Οκτωβρίου έως 28/29 Φεβρουαρίου Για να υποβάλλετε αίτηση για πρακτική άσκηση, θα πρέπει να πληροίτε τις προϋποθέσεις και να συμπληρώσετε το ηλεκτρονικό έντυπο της αίτησης. Σας συμβουλεύουμε να μην περιμένετε την τελευταία ημέρα της προθεσμίας για την υποβολή της υποψηφιότητάς σας, προκειμένου να αποφευχθεί ο κορεσμός του συστήματος, δεδομένου του μεγάλου αριθμού των υποψηφιοτήτων. Όταν υποβάλετε την ηλεκτρονική αίτηση, πρέπει να συμπληρώσετε κάθε σελίδα της αίτησης μέσα σε 30 λεπτά το πολύ. Σημειώστε ότι, εάν αφήσετε αδρανή την αίτηση υποψηφιότητας για 30 λεπτά, όσα στοιχεία έχουν εισαχθεί θα διαγραφούν. Για τον λόγο αυτό, σας συμβουλεύουμε να διαβάσετε προσεχτικά τις Εσωτερικές διατάξεις σχετικά με τις περιόδους πρακτικής άσκησης και τις επισκέψεις μελέτης στη Γενική Γραμματεία του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου, και τις Συνήθεις Ερωτήσεις, πριν υποβάλετε την ηλεκτρονική σας αίτηση. Για να υποβάλετε την αίτηση υποψηφιότητας στις γενικές διευθύνσεις που ταιριάζουν περισσότερο στο προφίλ σας, μπορείτε να διαβάσετε τις αντίστοιχες περιγραφές επιλέγοντας το εικονίδιο i στην τελευταία σελίδα του έντυπου της αίτησης ή να επισκεφθείτε την ιστοσελίδα της Γενικής Γραμματείας του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου. Δεν είναι δυνατή η πραγματοποίηση αλλαγών στην αίτηση ηλεκτρονικά, η δε συμπλήρωση και υποβολή της αποτελούν ενιαία ενέργεια. Μετά τη συμπλήρωση της αίτησής σας, παρακαλείστε να βεβαιωθείτε ότι είναι πλήρης πριν την υποβολή. Μπορείτε να στείλετε μόνο μία αίτηση για έναν τομέα άσκησης. Αν στείλετε περισσότερες της μιας αιτήσεις για έναν τομέα, θα κρατήσουμε μόνο την πιο πρόσφατη. Σημ.: Οι ελλιπώς συμπληρωμένες αιτήσεις απορρίπτονται αυτόματα. Αφού επιβεβαιώσετε/στείλετε την ηλεκτρονική σας αίτηση, θα λάβετε αυτόματα επιβεβαίωση στη διεύθυνση του ηλεκτρονικού σας ταχυδρομείου. With over 25,000 opportunities listed, and some €15.6 billion of scholarships available annually in Europe, the portal is well on its way to providing a one stop shop for those looking to spend an academic period abroad. Επίσης μπορούν να λάβουν μέρος στις τρέχουσες εργασίες του Συμβουλίου.
