The United Nations Association of New York Humanitarian Awards Dinner has become a major and exclusive national
venue where leading individuals and organizations are recognized for their contributions to and support of the ideals and
work of the United Nations. It also commemorates United Nations Day each year and provides our major fundraising opportunity within the host city of New York. This year the Humanitarian Awards Dinner will be held on Wednesday, October 29,
2014 at the Marriott Essex House in New York.
The United Nations Association of New York is a non-profit organization supporting hundreds of programs over the years.
The dinner is our main fundraising opportunity of the year, and therefore we would appreciate immensely any referral or
possible direct sponsorship. This would take the form of a table reservation or individual tickets. The mandate of the
United Nations Association of New York is to present the issues and work of the United Nations to the American people.
Our influence in New York is extended through regular programs and presentations and we rely on the support of donor
organizations to be able to fulfill our mission.
