Timetables and exam schedule, autumn 2015
The timetables and exam schedule are made on the basis of clusters of courses within same subject area. The
timetables and exam schedule for each cluster is planned individually, and therefore no overlaps may be expected
within each cluster. However, overlaps may occur between clusters. The timetables and exam schedule will be
planned at the beginning of June. Therefore you must plan your possible electives due to the clusters below. However
it will be possible to choose courses from different clusters but overlap may occur in your timetable and/or exam
schedule. You are free to choose courses from the cluster that fits best into your study programme.
If you choose courses from more clusters and find out that your courses are overlapping when the timetables and
exam schedule are published in June it will be possible to change your elective(s).
Registration for electives in the autumn 2015 semester will take place from 1 – 10 May 2015.
You can find the courses descriptions in the course catalogue by using the new course no. In the registration form the
same courses will figure with the new course no., which will also be the course no. that you will be registered for. The
reason why the same course has both new and old course no. is due to some technical changes after the study
progress reform has come into force.
If a course is stated as prerequisite course the course is offered as compulsory course on one of the master
specializations but can also be taken as elective for students on other master specializations. If a course is stated as
elective the course is offered as elective for all students.
