CONDITIONS:
1.THIS SHOW IS FOR NZSRA FINANCIAL MEMBERS ONLY, new members welcome.
2. Only standardbreds with an official Harness Racing freeze brand are eligible to enter.
3. Competitors enter and compete at their own risk. The New Zealand Standardbred Riding Assn accepts no
responsibility for injury, loss or damage to property, horse or pony or spectator.
4. By entering this show you are deemed to accept and be bound by the NZSRA’s conditions of entry.
5. Entries will not be accepted unless entry form is signed. Signature is deemed as the competitors/exhibitors
acceptance of the show conditions. A guardian must sign the entry form for competitors under 18yrs of age. Entry fees
must accompany entry form or else they will not be accepted.
6. The committee reserves the right to combine, alter or delete classes, or alter running order of classes. They shall
also have the right to decline any entry it may see fit, and to remove any horse or pony from the grounds that it
considers dangerous.
7. Riding hats must be worn at all times while mounted.
8. No plaiting.
9. No riding jackets. Association sweatshirts to be worn (a black top may be substituted if you do not have the current
uniform). Suitable footwear acceptable.
10. A BEGINNER horse is one that has not had a 1st or 2nd at any A&P show or in any open ridden classes at any other
show.
11. A NOVICE horse is one that has not won more than 5 firsts in a conformation class at any show.
12. All beginner and novice horses to be shown in a snaffle bit.
13. No horse or pony under 3 years of age may compete in ridden classes.
14. Colts / Stallions must have permission from the organising committee and must have a blue ribbon in their tail.
15. Horses that are inclined to kick must have a red ribbon in their tail.
16. Ribbons awarded to 6th place. Champion and Reserve awarded in each ring, Inhand and Ridden. Supreme
Champion Inhand and Ridden. Beginner Champion is eligible for this.
17. Classes which count towards Overall High Points awards are marked with a ‘ * ‘. Points: 1st=6, 2nd=5, 3rd=4, 4th=3,
5th=2, 6th=1. No points for Supreme Champion, Champion or Reserve. Must be same combination for inhand &
ridden. Combination must compete in inhand and ridden sections to be eligible for Overall awards.
18. Judges decision is final. Any protest must be submitted within 30 minutes of the event concerned and
accompanied by a $25 deposit, which will be forfeited if the protest is dismissed.
19. All rubbish must be removed and grounds left tidy.
20. Entry fees: $3.00 per class. Ground fee is $8.00 per horse which includes administration costs.
21. Only horses entered are permitted on the grounds.
22. Anyone seen to be abusing their horse, judges, committee members or other competitors will be eliminated and
removed immediately.

Inhand AND Beginner Ridden showing.
The above 2 trophies will be awarded at the end of the day.
VERSATILITY 12Noon START
After the completion Ridden Showing
** One entry fee of $10 will give you entry to all the versatility events **
All participants will be encouraged to give everything a go, however you will not be penalised for not
partaking in everything if you feel your safety will be compromised.
You will compete in each event individually (no group racing) and overall placings in each class will be
based on time and/or penalties.
There will be placing’s from 1st to 6th in each event, with points accrued the same as the showing section.
The combination gaining the most points accumulated in the Versatility section will be awarded the "Super
Jonty Trophy"
Versatility prize giving will be unmounted at the end of activities at the clubrooms.

We are going to have Pizza & soft drink at the completion of
competition for our members and their helpers.
All you need to bring is yourself and some extra food for your horse
so he/she is happy to stay at the float for a little longer.
We ask that you give an indication of numbers attending so we can cater
appropriately.
