contemporary of Picasso as well as a fellow Catalan, Miró was briefly aligned with the Surrealists in the late 1920s in Paris and went on to
create a phenomenal pictorial and sculptural universe. Showcasing works of art exclusively drawn from the last 20 years of the artist’s life, the

from Spain’s national museum of modern and contemporary art, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid (Museo Reina Sofía).

MOMENTS IN TRANSITION: PHOTOGRAPHS AND DESIGN BY FRANK LEE CRAIG
By the end of the Twentieth Century when Craig's photography intensified, many factories, mills, and warehouses had been abandoned and left
behind for deterioration or demolition. As the artist became fascinated with such structures and their history, he photographed them. Time after
time, he ventured into old and often dangerously dilapidated buildings. His intention was not documentation - but an exploration of those shapes
and elements suggested by the transition witnessed, or suggested, during his excursions. FREE admission.
