Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta 29 – 31 October 2014 The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) will take the lead to organise a Singapore Pavilion for companies to participate at Indonesia Transport Supply Chain & Logistics (ITSCL 2014) at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta, from 29 – 31 October 2014. Why Participate: Indonesia Transport Supply Chain & Logistics (ITSCL 2014), it is the only dedicated transport and logistics event in Indonesia, with the aim of being a key partner of industry and the Indonesian government, showcasing the government’s aspirations of efficient infrastructure and helping it to achieve its objectives of the Blueprint of National Logistics System Development. ITCSL will bring government, international and domestic participants of the complete supply chain and industry all together in one place, helping to increase efficiency and reduce the cost of transport and logistics. Exhibitor Profile: Freight Transport & Logistics Services Logistics infrastructures, international delegations Logistics and Industrial Properties Transport & logistics technologies and information systems Financial Assistance: SMF has obtained approval from IE Singapore Singapore Pavilion in ITSCL 2014 to be covered under the IMAP (International Marketing Activities Programme) scheme. IMAP will enable companies to receive subsidies for up to 50% of the eligible cost in space rental and stand construction. Note: Companies may apply for Double Tax Deduction (DTD) for qualifying expenses not covered by IMAP. With effect from 01 Apr 12, the DTD has been enhanced to allow companies to automatically claim 200% tax deduction without prior approval from IE Singapore or STB. (up to the first S$100,000 of qualifying expenses per year of assessment). Qualifying Criteria Eligible companies are defined as being incorporated and based in Singapore (excluding branches of a foreign company) & locally registered with at least 3 core business functions. The amount of reimbursement is subject to IE Singapore guidelines and varies from fair to fair. • SMF members are required to pay an admin fee of $100/company which is not eligible for claim under the IMAP scheme. • GS1 members are required to pay an admin fee of $200/company which is not eligible for claim under the IMAP scheme. • Non-members are required to pay an admin fee of $450/company which is not eligible for claim under the IMAP scheme. Please note that IE Singapore reserves the right to verify information provided by the companies. Eligibility and subsidy reimbursement to individual companies are subjected to final claim approval. a. IMAP is not a direct subsidy for expenses incurred by participating companies. b. IMAP is intended to offset the bona fide eligible cost paid by TAC to 3rd party suppliers in organizing the activity. c. TAC shall not misappropriate the participating fees collected from participating companies. d. TAC is responsible for all expenses related to the activity and will seek reimbursement for eligible expenses from IE Singapore on behalf of participating companies. e. IE Singapore will not be responsible to the participating companies in the event that TAC defaults in making payment to the participating companies. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRADE FAIR PARTICIPATION The Exhibiting Company shall be irrevocably bound by the terms and conditions as stated in the Space Contract provided by Reed Tradex Company Limited. No cancellation is allowed as cancellation charges will apply as per the Space Contract. The Exhibitor shall at all times keep SMF and each of its directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) fully and effectively indemnified from and against any and all liabilities, claims, damages, costs, charges and expenses to which any of the Indemnified Parties may be exposed or which any of the Indemnified Parties may incur, suffer, sustain and against all actions, suits, proceedings, claims, demands of any nature whatsoever which may be taken, made or threatened against any of the Indemnified Parties or incurred or become payable by any of the Indemnified Parties or which may arise directly or indirectly by reason of any act, deed, matter or thing done or permitted or omitted to be done by any of the Indemnified Parties in connection with this Agreement or arising therefrom and all other costs, charges and expenses in connection therewith, including legal costs on a full indemnity basis.
