If you are planning any large dollar
purchases in a single day this holiday
season (such as the day after
Thanksgiving), please be sure to contact
us at 989.754.6575 so that we can
review the spend limit on your Debit Card
and make adjustments in advance if
necessary. This could help avoid having
transactions denied at the register.
We have been made aware of a current phishing scam
regarding merchant services for credit card processing. If
you receive a phone call from a company stating that there
was a security breach and you need to update your credit card
processing machine, please be aware. We recommend that
you call the credit union before providing any information or
filling out any forms. Please remember-Your Credit Union and
your credit card processing company will never contact you
and ask for information that we already have. If you have any

Community Impact
Team Update
The Team One Community Impact team has volunteered
over 2,000 hours in our communities so far this year.
Helping keep our highways clean through the AdoptA-Highway program, volunteering at the Thumb Bread
Basket in Bad Axe, Vassar CROP Walk to fight hunger, and
supporting area Alzheimer’s walks are just a few of the
programs that the community involvement team have
helped out at recently.
Congratulations to Russ Dickens, an Accounting Specialist
at the Main office, who biked 175 miles and raised $523 for
MS during Bike MS in Frankenmuth.
Way to go—Community Impact Team members participated
in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk in Saginaw
recently raising funds for the American Cancer Society.

on November 22 beginning at 11 am.

Team One is currently accepting nominations for
candidacy on our volunteer Board of Directors and
Credit Committee. 3 positions are open for the Board of
Directors, 1 position is open for the Credit Committee,
and 2 positions are open for Credit Committee
alternates. The Nominating Committee seeks at least
one member in good standing to each of the available
positions.
If you are interested in volunteering your time and
expertise to serve your credit union, please

their ability to serve, and the strengths and diversity that
the nominee would bring to the Board of Directors or

Team One is hosting a two day AARP Smart Driver
Course on January 13 and 14 from 10 am-2 pm. at
our Saginaw Township branch for members. Offered by
AARP Driver Safety, this course is designed especially
for drivers age 50 and older. By taking a driver safety
course you’ll learn the current rules of the road,
defensive driving techniques and how to operate your
vehicle more safely in today’s increasingly challenging
driving environment. You may also be eligible to receive
an insurance discount upon completing the two day
course and receiving your certificate of completion,
consult your insurance agent for details. AARP
membership is not required and there are no tests
to pass. Seating is limited. Please call the Team One

for High School Seniors

As part of our ongoing commitment to
education, Team One is proud to provide several
college scholarships to local high school seniors.
If you are a high school senior planning to
attend college, we encourage you to apply for
a Team One Scholarship. To be eligible to apply,
applicants need to be or need to become a
member of the credit union. If your student isn’t
a Team One member yet—tell them that when
they join, they will be eligible to apply for Team
One scholarships and our other great products
and services including the Sallie Mae® Smart
Option Student Loan. Scholarship applications
