PolarSys (h�p://www.polarsys.org) is the industrial community for Open Source tools for Embedded Systems, covering both
SystemEngineeringandEmbeddedSystemsDevelopment.
PolarSys was created in 2012 as an Eclipse Working Group, a super community star�ng in the aerospace domain from the
Topcasedproject,andquicklya�rac�ngotherindustrydomainsthatrelyonembeddedsystemslikeTelecommunica�on.
PolarSysnotonlyprovidesastateoftheartinfrastructureforOpenSourceprojects,butalsoimplementsspecificprocessesto
improve projects maturity and to organize a sustainable ecosystem where industrial users and open source providers work
together.
PolarSysdefinestheconceptofOpenSourceSolu�ons,thatgobeyondthequali�essingleofOpenSourceprojectsandprovide
