YES, IT IS ALMOST TIME to think about
F
decorating your house for the festive
season. Short of ideas? Luckily, help is on
the way.
Each year HopeSpring Cancer Support
Centre organizes a tour of five homes,
beautifully decorated in holiday splendour by professional decorators, florists
and garden centres who donate their time
and expertise. The HopeSpring centre
itself is also open for refreshments and
tours.
All proceeds from the event go to
HopeSpring, an independent organization that provides free services to those
touched by cancer in Kitchener, Waterloo,
Cambridge and Guelph.
The photos on the following pages, shot
during the 2013 house tour, will give you

One of the challenges of the world today is to find sustainable ways to better
the lives of people living in extreme poverty. The key to the Jaipur Rugs
Foundation is empowerment, not charity.
By offering opportunities to artisans and all people involved in the rug
weaving value chain for sustainable livelihoods to bring prosperity to their
communities, the Foundation proves to the underprivileged that they can
attain the skills required to live a dignified life.
