Crisis Interven on and Assistant program (CIA)
Crisis Interven on and support program is a unique, holis c service that helps older adult to stays in their own home as long as possible. Our program reduces isola on, by developing links within the community.
CIA assists seniors 55 years and older, as well as adults 18 years and older with physical and/or men-­‐
tal disabili es who may have mul ple and complex problems.

Home Support: Service seniors and
For seniors (55+) with limited income and also
anyone with mental health issues facing eviction.
A holistic philosophy and a set of practical strategies that
seek to reduce the harm associated with drugs.
Providing proactive support, food, and education,
this programme helps seniors avoid eviction and
improve their quality of living.
Understands that drug use is complex, requires a variety
of responses and acknowledges that some ways of using
drugs are safer than others.
An outreach worker will :
Work to minimize the harmful effects that may result from
using drugs rather than ignoring them.

Telephone Reassurance Programme;
Volunteers call clients to ensure they are

Worker to individually assess clients for
health, income anor other concerns.

determination
Harm Reduction Supplies:
Condom distribution, health kit, power bars, vein cream, sharps
containers, and educational materials.
Referrals:
Local needle exchanges, drug treatment and methadone programmes, HIV and Hepatitis testing centres.
Our service is Free & Confidential. We don’t
judge. You don’t have to quit drugs or want to
quit drugs to receive our services.
