For next year, the Board of Trustees of the Tuxedo Park Library is requesting Fundraising 35,200 Fees: fines, faxes & photocopies 15,275 Interest an increase of $14,265 in tax support for the 1,200 Total Income Library’s operating budget. This is an increase of $501,931 $553,606 $3.94 per Tuxedo resident for the year or Expenses one and one tenth of a penny per day. Library Staff $361,882 The proposed budget reflects our ongoing Library Materials 59,814 commitment to maintaining a high level of library Building & Equipment Maintenance 26,600 service to the residents of Tuxedo while controlling Automated Library System 22,000 Utilities 21,580 Insurance & Auditor Fees 15,100 Adult, YA & Children’s Programs 12,400 Library Supplies 11,000 costs. Along with the other 16 public libraries in Orange County, this fall we’ll be participating in the OrangeREADS Unbroken project. If you haven’t already noticed, we’ve started a new collection called “New Adult.” This new collection will focus on the interests of readers between the ages of 18 to 24. These new titles appeal to readers who have moved past YA novels and are looking to find characters that share their interests.
