Palau Hybrid’s grass combines the best of natural grass and
artificial turf, using an innovating system to offer a unique a
resilient paying surface.
This is the only hybrid system that includes an elastic layer
so the ground does not compact.
Stronger and more resistant
The field is always even and resilient, but the grass grows
vigorously. Roots are protected by the artificial turf basement
and the elastic layer avoids the compacting of the ground.

HOW DOES THE SYSTEM WORK?
Natural grass

Sand subsoil + specific mix
Natural grass: It is seeded from 1 to 4 inches above the artificial turf. Roots run through
the backing, providing a very strong anchorage.
Artificial turf: Protects the natural grass fibers, absorbing the load and protecting soil to
come out protecting soil to come out. It reduces the maintenance work.
Selective insulating weave + elastic layer: The elastic layer protects the natural grass
roots, prevents players’ injuries and creates a cavity wall. The insulating weave prevents
the sand inside the elastic layer from coming out, avoids the reproduction of insects and
animals and standardizes the temperature.
Sand subsoil: Roots grow strongly until reaching a 10-inch size. This way they absorb
more water and nutrients, improving their resistance and their recovery capability
