If you have any questions please feel free to call or email Vita (212-2745 or [email protected]) #WeChooseRio It started with a phone call from a parent to the #OneRio Committee wishing there was a way to celebrate the students, staff and parents of Rio Americano. It had been a week of anxiety and tension, but we all know that is not what life on the Rio Americano campus is about. So from that one phone call, the slogan #WeChooseRio was born and within 24 hours, students started tweeting their Rio pride with the slogan, parents started rallying and donating their time and money, and by Friday morning, banners, balloons, festivities and treats were under way. Though unforeseen events altered the day’s plans, it was evident that Rio is a family and we are ready to support each other. It was a scaled down event from what was originally planned, but who would have thought that some balloons and donuts would put so many smiles on so many faces? Thank you to everyone who helped make our first #WeChooseRio day a success! #OneRio is committed to helping improve Rio – the School, the Spirit and the Pride! Please keep a lookout for and support future events put on by #OneRio. Thank you Again!
