Here are some important reminders about the upcoming Christmas Bazaar. Basket Raffle items - If possible, we would like to have all items for the Baskets in by Sunday, November 23rd. Suggested basket themes are Holiday, Coffee/Tea, Wine & Cheese, Movie Night, Garden, Packer, CW Bulldogs etc. We would love to sell your Craft Items, so feel free to get "Crafting". Some suggestions might be, homemade potholders, mittens, slippers, aprons, pillow cases, table runners, purses, wine bottle gift bags, etc. If you can "craft" it we'll do our best to sell it. As always items for the Basket Raffle and Craft Sale can be left in the bucket in the entry-way of the church or in the church office/multi-purpose room. CLUSTER NEWS OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD JOIN US FOR A ‘SHOEBOX PACKING PARTY’ Middle School & High School Students You are invited to a SHOEBOX PACKING PARTY! THIS Sunday, November 16th at 6pm at St. Peter We will have an ice-breaker game, learn a bit more about Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child, pack boxes and have a celebratory snack and prayer service. If you can, go to our website and RSVP that you are coming! See attached form for other ways to RSVP. This way we will make sure to have enough boxes and snacks! RSVP is requested, but not required to attend. Then plan to come with some items to pack and to have a great time! OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD VOLUNTEER - MINI MISSION TRIP! Students / Parents / ANY PARISHIONERS ages 13 and above We are organizing a group of 20 people to go over to the cities to work the Operation Christmas Child Distribution Center on Wednesday, November 26th. Carloads will need to be worked out with friends and family. Patty Gerber will help to coordinate this for anyone wanting to help. The shift will run from 9am-1pm. Upon arriving at the center, everyone will receive a free t-shirt and training. We will work sorting shoeboxes, verifying that nothing improper has been packed, labeling boxes for gender, taping them up and then boxing them for shipment. Hundreds of workers will be assisting at this time. Thousands of volunteers will work this center, which is only 1 of many, and close to a million boxes will be shipped out from this center alone. It’s the “BIGGEST GAINER” challenge, and on November 19th, each class will have a ‘weigh-in’ of all the soup and detergent. The class with the greatest weight gain will win a special ice cream treat that night! On behalf of the family of Mason Ward, the Knights of Columbus thank all of the people who contributed so generously at the benefit breakfast last Sunday. God bless you all! Annual Cluster Ladies Christmas Luncheon St. Peter’s Altar and Rosary Society will be hosting this year’s luncheon on Tuesday, December 9th, at the Cameron House in Cameron. The menu features lasagna, salad, garlic bread, dessert, and coffee. The cost of $12.00 includes tax and tip. Social begins at 12:30 and the luncheon will be served at 1:00. All ladies of the cluster are invited to join them for holiday fun, food, and fellowship.
