TILL at Three Boys Farm
Open House
On October 15, 2014, TILL at Three Boys
Farm in Stow hosted an Open House for
Educators and Service Providers to
explore our newest day program
opportunity for adults. It was a perfect day
to enjoy the colors of fall and tour this
innovative farmstead
program.
The
Farmers in Training from TILL Central
Watertown demonstrated just a few of the
many skills they have aquired while guests
sampled Farmer Frank’s delicious squash
and bean soups and componata.

Halloween at T.R.A.S.E.
(TILL’s Recreation After School Experience)
Halloween never fails to bring out the fun in all of us. Can you guess the identities
of this goulish pair who came to “lend a hand” at the annual celebration?

Above and Beyond
Each month, TILL’s Professional Development Committee awards a
Certificate of Appreciation to employees who have gone that extra
step in the performance of their duties. Certificates are on display in
the touchdown area of our administrative office.
John Connolly, Human Resources Manager, Human Resources
Department
This Above and Beyond Award is in acknowledgment of your
willingness to assist others at TILL, no matter how busy your day is.
Whether it involves moving furniture, helping with an Excel
spreadsheet or explaining nicely to a visitor at the front desk that
they need to make an appointment, you are always available to lend a
helping hand. You do all this with positive and friendly attitude.
You are very computer savvy and have taken the initiative to create
programs that improve the efficiency of the Human Resources
Department. You are always willing to share your expertise with
anyone who is having computer problems.
You treat all applicants with respect and dignity from their first
contact on the phone through the hiring process. You make sure that
each applicant is matched to the program that is best suited for them
to be successful. Many applicants ask to meet you if they are being
interviewed by someone else and stop by to say thank you after they
are hired. Thank you for all you do!
Larry Bird, Residential Coordinator, Residential Services
This Above and Beyond Award is in acknowledgment of your
generosity and thoughtfulness in arranging to have staff and
individuals attend a Patriots’ alumni game against Buffalo. You
made all the arrangements, made sure club house tickets were
available and even organized a time for everyone to meet and have
pictures taken with celebrity players. Two of the individuals were
ecstatic over their personalized jerseys and everyone was happy to
enjoy the game from the club house seats! Individuals and staff have
a special day to remember because you went the extra mile to
include them in your plans!
If you know of any random act of kindness or someone who has
gone Above and Beyond, please email their story to
[email protected] so we can share their story with
everyone.
TILL’s Living Legacy Project Video Update
TILL’s Living Legacy Project was presented to an audience of Human
Services Professionals, Service Coordinators and families at the DDS
Northeast Regional Center in Danvers by Dafna Krouk-Gordon and
Nicki Pombier Berger, oral historian and producer of the Living Legacy
Project. Also in attendance were family members of two of the
individuals highlighted in the film. Discussions regarding additional
showings are underway.
