Headlight Protector PC G 650 Xcountry
The Headlight protector G 650 Xcountry PC is
manufactured out of polycarbonate. It mounts to
the head light bezel of the G 650 Xcountry with
spacers and longer screws. The material is
extremely tough, non-shattering and is almost invisible and meshes with the appearance of the motorcycle very well. Everything required for mounting
is included with delivery. The headlight protector
does not have German TÜV-type approval and was
developed for off-road and daytime use only.

It consists of a strong corrugated grid that is welded
directly to the frame, and is completely powdercoated. Assembly is as straightforward as you

Rally Fairing with Aluminium Stem G650X
Ideal, beautifully shaped rally fairing for
medium- and long-distance rallies. The new
Touratech glass fibre reinforced plastic Flex makes
the fairing extremely strong whilst maintaining
flexibility. The aluminium stem is designed for
maximum stability, and provides optimum support
for the lights, fairing and instrument holder in all
terrain situations. The lighting unit offers the latest
long-lasting and stable lighting technology with
Xenon headlight and DE dipped headlight
(triple-axle ellipsoid). The instrument holder is
already prepared for the mounting
of the optional instrumentalisation: motorbike
computer IMO 50 (page 1022) and the roadbook
holder RB-TT (starting from page 1016). Also offers
the option of individual instrumentalisation and fits
even with the original instruments, for instance to
mount one or more GPS devices. It is easy to fit,
which means the rally fairing is quickly and easily
fitted and removed. The original steering lock can
stay, and mounting is possible with the large Touratech tank (page 530) and the original tank cover.
Only the front mudguard will have to be replaced
by the optional Touratech sport mudguard (see
below). Parts supplied: Fairing in TT glass fibre reinforced plastic Flex (unlacquered), strong aluminium
stem, Xenon headlight and DE dipped headlight

height of your Xchallenge handlebars by some
15 mm, you can also increase or reduce your
horizontal distance to the handlebars. For the
taller rider this means less strenuous riding when
standing and thus an increase in endurance and
concentration. This makes fast and difficult tracks
easier to master. Ideal for sporty off-road use.

Long-Distance Travel Tank Conversion

With the auxiliary tank developed by TT3D, you can
almost triple the range of your G 650 X. Touratech
has managed to produce an extra 16 litres of
fuel capacity. Once your G650X is fitted with this
auxiliary tank, with ist unlimited off-road capability,
you’ll have 25 litres of petrol on board and be able
to cover distances up to 550 km (350 miles) on the
BMW without even smelling a petrol station.

Oil Drain Plug BMW G 650 X
The original oil drain plug on the G 650 X
protrudes well out of the engine housing, and
partly even beyond the engine guard. That can
lead to damage any time the bike is bottoming out.
For this reason we have developed a replacement
part that is quick and easy to install (replacement
possible even without oil change!). The plug has an
approx. 6 mm flatter head than the original plug.
It therefore fits perfectly under the Touratech engine
guard (049-0107), but also far better under the
original engine guard. Made of anodised
aluminium with copper sealing ring.

Kick Stand Support Extension

The G 650 Xchallenge stands much more firmly
even on quite a soft surface with this kick stand
support extension. Even if you park the motor bike
on a meadow you do not always have to look for a

The G 650 Xchallenge is designed for sporty off-road use and that is exactly where we’d like to see it.
The experience from numerous races of our offroad racing team has shown that the engine guard of the
G650 Xchallenge could use a number of improvements to be suited for rough competition use. For this
reason we have developed a sturdy engine guard which, thanks to its stronger material and slightly wider
form, protects the alternator, clutch and water pump connection far better than the original.

Folding Brake Lever

The brake lever can break even if you just fall. This
will make it very difficult, if not impossible, to go
any further. With our brake lever you can reduce
this risk easily and effectively because of the folding
front lever. In addition, the forces acting on the
brake lever will be transferred less strongly to the
selector shaft. Should the brake lever get a little
bent out of shape it can be straightened again very
easily.

We have always wanted these footpegs for our longdistance journeys. Everyone knows the problem:
When wearing enduro boots, there is not enough
space between them and the brake lever or gear
ever. The long-distance footpegs are fitted further
back, thus providing optimum space for enduro
boots. The wider foot base also allows longer distances to be covered comfortably while standing on the
footpegs. Furthermore, they also have new footpeg
brackets. These are made like the footpegs
themselves of high-quality stainless steel. By contrast
with the original cast brackets, these effectively
prevent the footpegs breaking off in the event of
falling.

Chain Guide,

Off-Road Chain Guide for the BMW G650X
Challenge. A chain guide ensures that the chain
will align with the sprocket under all conditions. In
extreme off-road conditions, or when the chain is
loose, or worn out, this becomes more important,
for the bike, and for the safety of the rider. Prevent
the chain from coming off, ever. The G650X comes
with a guard to block entry of a foot or hand into
the sprocket in event of a crash. It looks like a
chain guide but it does not capture the chain on all
sides and guide it onto the sprocket.
A chain guide is also very important for longdistance travels where it may be required to use
a very worn chain beyond normal service limits.

Adjustable Gear Lever G 650 X

The adjustable gear lever is used to its best
advantage with the adjustable foot rest or simply
if the position of the original gear lever is not
suitable.With this gear lever too the front lever
has a spring to enable it to fold thus reducing

Brake Line Clamp Cover
G 650 X Challenge/Country/Moto
On the G 650 X the brake line clamp at the front of the fork is in an exposed
position and is not protected. If this fragile plastic clamp is destroyed by
stones etc., the brake line is no longer fixed to the fork. Then there is a much
higher risk that the brake line can be damaged. The clamp cover is made
from 1.5 mm anodised aluminium and fixed with the original nuts.

Practically indestructible wheels for the off-road
Sport Boxer. In order to make the XC even more
suitable for off-road use, we have decided to
include wheels made by the Japanese stainless steel
and precision forge in the range. Combining 18
and 21 inch wheels gives the XC significantly better
handling in off-road situations. In our opinion the
wheels are vital for sports use. Excel wheels with
cross tyres and standard wheels with tyres better
suited to the road make the Xchallenge the
universal Enduro which can be converted very
quickly.

Tank Bag
G 650 X Challenge
The tank bag G 650 X Challenge was developed especially for the BMW. Its standard capacity of
about 12 litres can be expanded to about 18 litres quickly and easily. An additional pocket at the back
provides enough room for storing a purse or documents. There is a small pocket on the left for a multitool or similar items. The rubber strap on one side can be used to fix rain trousers or gloves.
The A4 map pocket is fixed to the top of the tank bag with velcro. Removing the tank bag from the
motorcycle is very simple and a matter of seconds. Fitting the tank bag is easy with the two buckles at
the front and straps at the back. A strong carrying handle and two straps for converting the tank bag
into a rucksack are also included.

This practical tail pannier for the BMW G650X has
a capacity of 6 litres. Tailor-made, it fits precisely
on our large tail rack (p. 550). The pannier has a
foam rubber base and robust side panels.
It is fastened to the aluminium plate using strong
straps. With a zip fastener, you can increase the
volume of 4 litres to approx. 8 litres.
