Giles Tours is a successful and well established business supplying coach holidays
alongside private coach hire to schools, churches, sports groups and many other private
organisations across the Province since 1991.
We are now pleased to introduce our 2015 brochure for your consideration and thank
you for taking the time to view our selection. Inside you’ll find the usual variety of day
tours together with many favourite UK and Ireland holiday destinations. We’ve included
some exciting new venues for our holiday excursions and packaged them together to suit
a wide range of budgets and tastes.
We invite you to compare our prices as we are confident that you will find our tours to be
competitively priced whilst offering a high standard of quality and service. You can look
forward to comfortable accommodation, hearty breakfasts and menus which hopefully
satisfy even the healthiest of holiday appetites. Many of our hotels also offer fitness or
leisure facilities so you can enjoy your desserts guilt-free!
We believe your holiday starts from the moment you board the coach. Once your luggage
is loaded at your pick up point, you can sit back and relax in the knowledge that you won’t
see it again until you arrive at the hotel. With reserved seating and our drive on / off ferry
policies you are free to make the most of the onboard facilities.
Each journey is carefully planned to allow comfort stops and sufficient lunch time breaks.
Our friendly and courteous drivers are totally committed to ensuring that you enjoy your
holiday and are always on hand to assist with any queries you may have.
We are dedicated to providing a friendly, courteous and professional service from the
moment you make your first enquiry. We pride ourselves on offering the personal touch,
as only a family business can, and if you have any special requirements please discuss
them with us at an early stage so we can ensure everything is in place for a hassle free
holiday.

Copies of our Fair Trading Agreement, Hotel Brochures and detailed Itineraries are available on request. (Itineraries are
subject to change without notice if thought to be in the best interests of our clients.) All details are correct at time of going to
print. However, all tours are planned in advance so there may be times when information supplied is no longer accurate. Giles
Tours comply with package tour regulations for the protection of customer repayments. All such monies will be deposited
in a secure “Trustee Account” controlled by independent trustees who are professional people accepting the obligation for
controlling this account in the interests of our customers.
GENERAL INFORMATION
SEAT ALLOCATION
Seats may be reserved and will be held for 5 working days only, pending receipt of
deposit. If a deposit is not received within 5 working days the seats will be released.
DEPOSITS / PAYMENTS
A non-refundable deposit of £50.00 per person is required to secure your booking.
Payments may be made by cash, Postal Orders, cheque or card.
Card Payment Handling Charges apply:

2% or a minimum of £2.00 per transaction on all card payments
Deposit refunds are only allowed if the tour is cancelled by the operator.
At all other times deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Changes to names of travelling passengers will be treated as new bookings.
Full payment must be received 30 days prior to the departure date otherwise the
booking will be treated as cancelled and the seats released.
PICK UP POINTS
Please choose the most convenient pick up point from those listed on the itinerary.
These may differ depending on the tour destination. We are unable to veer away from
the indicated pick-up points due to the tight time schedule.
LUGGAGE
The amount of luggage is limited to one medium sized suitcase per person.
Weight restrictions apply: 15 kgs of luggage per person
SINGLE ROOMS
Single Rooms are limited and may involve supplements which are set by the hotels.
Additional single rooms can only be purchased at the terms set by the hotel.
TOURIST ATTRACTIONS
Our prices only include entrance fees to tourist attractions where stated.

INSURANCE:
Holiday / Travel Insurance is NOT included in the price of any of our tours.
We STRONGLY ADVISE that you take out adequate travel / holiday insurance to
cover all aspects of your holiday.

CANCELLATIONS:
If you are required to make a cancellation you should contact:
1. Giles Tours – Tour Operator to cancel your reservation
Cancellations must be notified in writing by the person responsible for booking.
2. Your insurance provider - to initiate a claim.
CANCELLATION CHARGES:
30 days before departure ...........Loss of Deposit Only
29 – 22 days ...................................Loss of 50% of the total holiday cost.
21 – 11 days ...................................Loss of 60% of the total holiday cost.
10 – 0 days......................................Loss of 100% of the total holiday cost.
IF A TOUR IS CANCELLED:
Arthur J Gallagher Insurance Brokers have agreed to allow a refund of insurance
premium, minus an administration fee of £3.50 per passenger, for any tour that is
cancelled due to LACK OF NUMBERS. Written confirmation of the tour cancellation
will be required from us the tour provider.
