Basketball – As a general rule, the 3rd-6th Grade Boys Basketball team will practice at
PCA from 3:30-4:45 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, the 7th-8th Grade
Boys Basketball team will practice at PCA from 5:45-7:15 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday,
Thursday & Friday and from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, and the High School Boys
Basketball team will practice at Helmar from 3:00-4:45 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday,
Thursday and Friday.
Cheerleading – As a general rule, cheerleading practice will be at PCA from 3:15-5:00
p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Dinner and a Movie – On November 7th, Come enjoy Dinner (Rosati’s Mostaccioli, Salad
and Breadsticks) from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and a Movie (Mary Poppins) from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
at PCA. Tickets are $5 for kids and $7 for adults. All proceeds will go towards the Haiti

Picture Retake Day – November 21st is Picture Retake Day. All Jr/Sr High students
needing retakes should be ready to have their picture taken at 7:45 a.m.
Jr/Sr. High School News
Wreath Sales – Parkview is selling Christmas wreaths again this year. If you are planning
to buy Christmas wreaths anyway, why not buy them from our Jr. High students and
Seniors and help them raise money for their upcoming trips. Order forms went home
yesterday with your student. Just fill out your form and find one of our Jr High students
or seniors to give it to. If you don't know any of them, just send in your order, and we'll
be sure to take care of it for you. Order must be in by Monday, November 24th, and the
wreaths will be ready for pick-up on Tuesday, December 2nd from 3pm-7pm.
Senior Pictures – Senior Pictures will be taken on November 14th at Helmar at 12:30
a.m. Lifetouch will be taking 4 pictures of each student, two (2) in their dress clothes
and two (2) in the cap & gown. Lifetouch will bring a black cap & gown and silver tassel
for both the boys and girls. Students do not need to bring payment with them on picture
day, they will all receive a set of proofs about 2-3 weeks later that will include all
ordering information.
PTO & School Events
PTO meeting is Tuesday, November 4th, at 7:00 p.m. in the library. Everyone is welcome! Please
join us if you can
The PTO is making a Thanksgiving Feast available for Preschool – 12th grade on Tuesday,
November 25th. If you would like to purchase the meal for your child, you can do that
through our regular lunch ordering on renweb for $3.50. The meal includes turkey,
mashed potatoes, corn, a roll, milk and dessert. You can’t beat that for $3.50!! You will
need to place your order by midnight on November 17th.
