The 2014-2015 Bulldog Bash took place in the Archdale-Trinity Middle School gym on Tuesday, November 4 at 6:00pm. This fundraiser for the ATMS basketball teams has become an annual event that includes the introduction of the cheerleaders and the boys and girls basketball teams. The teams and crowd took part in intra-squad scrimmages, relay races, knock-out basketball shoot offs, and three-point shot competitions. The culminating event for the evening was the 4th Annual Teachers Versus Preachers Basketball Game. Assistant Boys’ Basketball Coach Eric King took on the role of emcee for the event and Mrs. Anitra Spencer, ATMS chorus and drama teacher, served as DJ and kept the crowd pumped and entertained. In the end, the teachers pulled out a win by a score of 49-46, stretching their lead in the Teachers v. Preachers series to 3-1. The Teacher team included Andrew Davis, Austin Davis, Brad Monroe, Carlina Revels, Christy Blakely, Jacob Sheffield, Matt Smith, Michelle Copraro, Stephanie Whitehart, Stephanie Williams, Deshanti Davis, and Rob Smith ,along with their secret weapon, Eric Johnson, Principal of Wheatmore High School. The Preacher team included Andy Peele, Brent McDowell, Mike Davis, Casey Bradford, Wayne Johnson, Joel Angel, Brandon Ware, Michael Spector, Tommy Poland, Mike Owen, and Justin Treadway.
