Ametherm's NTC Disc Thermistors Now in Stock at Mouser
November 5, 2014 – Mouser Electronics, Inc. is now stocking the NTC Disc Thermistors from
Ametherm. The components are thermally sensitive semiconductor resistors which decrease in
resistance as temperature increases.
Ametherm's NTC disc thermistors, available from Mouser Electronics, are manufactured in the
company's Carson City, Nevada, facility and deliver high stability with maximum sensitivity for
temperature measurement, compensation, and control. These thermistors target applications such as
fan motor controls, fluid level detectors, and temperature sensors for a wide range of end products.
With diameters ranging from 2.54mm to 12.7mm and profiles from 0.64 mm to 5.33 mm, these
NTC disc thermistors feature resistance at 25 °C from 4 Ω to 150 kΩ, precision tolerances to 1 %, Beta
from 3000 °K to 5000 °K, and high-temperature operation to + 150 °C. The devices offer dissipation
constants from 3 mw/°C to 17 mw/°C and thermal time constants down to 5 s. RoHS-compliant; the
leaded components are available in insulated and non-insulated configurations.
