Plug and Play with Phoenix Contact’s Highly Compact MINI Pro
Signal Conditioners Now at Mouser
November 17, 2014 – Mouser Electronics, Inc. is now stocking MINI Pro Signal Conditioners from
Phoenix Contact. Designed as one of the first families of isolation amplifiers in a 6.2mm width, these
Mini Pro Signal Conditioners from Phoenix Contact offer easy installation and startup in a confined
space for use in isolation, conversion, filtering or amplification of analog signals. These conditioners
use the latest pluggable connection and transmission technology, and provide safe electrical isolation
with a 3 kV test voltage range. Since the MINI Pro Signal Conditioners measure just 6.2 mm wide, they
require up to 65 percent less space over traditional signal conditioner designs.
The Phoenix Contact MINI Pro Signal Conditioners, available from Mouser Electronics, feature
multiple configuration options, including easy setup with DIP switches, extended configuration using PC
software, or simple configuration using an Android app. This flexibility makes it extremely simple for
engineers to configure the signal conditioners even without printed data sheets.
All devices within the family are designed for fast installation and ease of use. The Phoenix
Contact MINI Pro Signal Conditioners feature FASTCON Pro plug-in connection terminal blocks, easy
to access terminal points, and power bridging using a mounting rail bus connector. Each connection
and operating element is accessible from the front. Wiring can be accomplished in any order using
through screw-type connectors or push-in technology with no special tools. Optimum signal quality is
achieved using the latest switching technology paired with safe electrical isolation between input, output
and supply. These devices operate over an extended supply voltage range from 9.6V to 30V DC, and
have a broad operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C.
Large labeling areas offer ample space for complete loop marking, and status LEDs in every
isolation amplifier ensure quick and continuous diagnosis. Only one measurement is needed to capture
an entire current loop from sensor to controller without isolating the loop, and signal and supply circuits
can be quickly interrupted during startup and service using the built-in isolation functionality.
The Phoenix Contact MINI Pro Signal Conditioner products include interface modules, power
distribution modules, monitoring modules and signal conditioners/converters. All products within the
family are well-suited for a variety of industrial applications.
