to reflect Jesus Christ.”
November 14, 2014
Good Friday morning friends , Thanks for joining me for five minutes to update you on items of prayer and praise for
our Lower Pacific District family.
Last Sunday, it was a joy to be a joy to join with LEFC at their Clayton Campus. Earlier in the week, it was also great to join them at their special time of prayer for the
campus. God has been building the vision and passion for this ministry, and we trust Him
to provide them with the campus pastor of his choosing. Please join with us in praying
for LEFC, for Pastor Darren (Wendy) Young, for acting Clayton Campus Pastor, Michael (Heide) Brown, and the ministry team.
This Sunday, I look forward to joining Philip and Grace Yung and the team
at Hope City Church, where I will have the opportunity to preach and to observe what God is doing through this church plant in Burnaby. Please pray for
God to continue to lead and guide in the birth of this fresh work. Already,
there have been baptisms and baby dedications, and we pray for spiritual
births in the day ahead.
Please join me in praying for New Westminster EFC,
for pastor Tim (Emily) Stewart and for pastoral intern Shiya
(Marshall) Janzen.
Please pray for:
•
•
•
•
•
Goran Vitec, an intern at Langley EFC, on his shortterm mission to Northern India. Pray with him, for safety and for God to work in a powerful way.
Grace EFC, and for pastors Stephen Leung and Bruce (Hannah) Li, and their leadership team as the church seeks
the Lord for how to best serve Mandarin-speaking students from TWU and also looks to relocate in Richmond.
Searches for a youth pastor Johnston Heights Church, for a Children’s Pastor at Vancouver Chinese EFC, and for a
campus pastor at the Clayton Heights campus of Langley EFC.
For our LPD, as we search for a LPD Office Administrator. We appreciate Candice Horngren-Rhodes and her ministry, and wish her God’s best as she takes time to focus on her family.
Tom and Joyce Hilchie, as they seek the Lord for their future ministry.
