FR. GREG November 18, 2014 In September 2013, a parish meeting was held to discuss the possibility of building a Parish Activity Center. The decision was to devise plan, and then review the matter when the plan was completed. The plan is now ready. Our first meeting was very productive. As such, it seems this approach would again be beneficial to the process. Thus, we will have a PARISH MEETING on Sunday, November 23, 2014, following the 6:00 evening Mass. Fr. Greg Holy Cross Catholic Church’s Canopy Drive-Thru Please do not block the Church’s covered drive-thru. The inside lane of the covered drive-thru must be kept open at all times to let someone out or to be picked-up. Thank you. Blessed are those who fear the Lord. A STEWARDSHIP PRAYER for November Gracious and loving God, as the autumn season continues its transformation; and the days become shorter, the earth cooler; as we anticipate joining family and friends in joyful celebration on Thanksgiving Day, we pause to give You thanks and praise for the abundant blessings You have bestowed upon us: For life and health, safety and comfort, food and nourishment, we are sincerely grateful. Through your Spirit, open our hearts so that we may be even better stewards of these rich and unmerited gifts. Show us how to be a blessing for the poor, sick, lonely and all who suffer. And help us nurture the gift of faith, revealed to us by your Son, Jesus Christ, our greatest gift, who reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen. Remain in me as I remain in you, says the Lord. Whoever remains in me bears much fruit.
